Are you an east coast guy, west coast guy, or from overseas? I'm trying to figure out if there is some kind of barrier that is keeping you from understanding me.

A hater is usually someone that cant or doesn't have those very things they are HATING on. Do you comprehend that? Is that some type of big mystery to you?

Maybe this will make you feel better. I HATE the fact that parents dont make kids earn things in life. Society would be much better off if everyone learned to work for things. And aside from that. His initial post revealed a maturity level that may not suit driving a 330hp car. Would you like to argue against that now as well?

FYI - Hating something is consider voicing an opinion, you know that right that everyone in America has. Taking my opinion and generalizing me into a "hater" is where you went wrong.

I'm 24 year old who bought my G37 with my parents money. I did it through them just so I didn't have to pay any interest for 1, and 2. I don't have A+ credit Anyways, when I was 16 I bought my first ride, a 2000 Ford Lightning truck. I did all the bolt on's and had a crazy custom stereo system. I was the first person in my town to get 22 inch rims. At the time there was only 1 tire being made for a 22. Needless to say, people HATED me. My truck was keyed, stolen, I had crap thrown at me from other kids driving... it was BAD. You've got to understand that most people who see a young person in a nice car have a very generalized/judgemental outlook. It's not necessarily hate, but they make assumptions. You'll learn that how you handle yourself and your car play a huge role in how people look at you and treat you. Speeding down the street with the windows down and stereo up, not being responsible is how I acted at first, which fit hand in hand with peoples view of me. It sounds to me like you have a fortunate life, like I do, but have a good head on your shoulders. Congrats on your rides, and don't ever let anyone get you down. We can all agree the G37 is a mature/refined sport coupe, so one should act mature and refined I believe the official age you must be to have a ***** to the wall/ I don't give a **** attitude is 27, with atleast 10 years of work history. j/k

G35Tuning, it sounds to me like you are a 5th degree black belt in the art of assumptions. you are very dedicated to your craft
A. you assumed the kid's parents were born into money
B. you assumed he wasn't a responsible driver due to the excessive "flooring" of the car
C. You assume haters don't have what they are hating on
D. You assume since you bought your own car, and arn't hurting for $ you are free from being labeled as a "hater"

First off, we have no idea where the kid's parents got their money. I think his dad invented post-it notes

Secondly, if I was 16, and my dad said "hey son, lets go test drive that spiffy new G37." and then we were fortunate enough to be alone in the car and he said " why don't you check out this cars power" I'd floor it 17 3/4 times. Does this reflect my driving style, or level of responsibility??? Absolutely NOT!

Third, haters hate, period. They can hate on anything. They can hate people who have what they don't, or what they want. They can hate people who have nothing, people who have the same things as them, people trying to get what they already have etc.. There no end to hating. and hating is not an opinion, sorry to tell you.

Lastly, haters come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and with varying bank accounts. You can have a great work ethic all your life and do well for yourself, but the statements you made, and assumptions that were displayed reflect someone speaking out of hate, not concern or wisdom. The kid asked a simple question about a lease and some how people started to speak about his parents decision to buy him the car, where they got their money, his level of responsibility etc.. come on guys. Do we need to start a big brother/big sister program so the youth of this site can get inspirational and educated advice and shield them from judgement??

+1 on the big brother/big sister program.

Ill leave it at this. You can consider everything I've said as assumptions. But sadly, I only speak from experiences. The great thing about this world is my experiences can differ from yours. He has since edited his post from the original. He came across as young, naïve, and immature. That is an assumption on my part based on his age and post verbage. Everything else is generalization based off experiences. Care to argue against those?

Come on now...you've been looking since like December...seriously, your parents sound like big time ballers anyways...lets say you get 10% off of msrp and get it for 38-40 instead of $42...is the $4k really that big a deal to keep on delaying the purchase? I mean with them handing you 535i's..daddy rolling in an escalade...4k should be pocket change...a couple of days of work...just buy the car already and show us some pics! by the time you get it, you'll be too old to be lectured by the older members
