Having your family cars in your sig is mistake number one...Maybe mine should say:

2006 BMW 750IL, 2005 MBenz C320, 2003 Lexus GS400, 2004 Acura MDX, 2008 Infiniti G37

Point being...Try to act and drive the age that would be considered responsible enough for this car...I'm not HATING because I bought MY OWN G35 coupe at a young age of 20, but I purchased it myself...Why a parent would put a 16 year old kid that "flooored it 10 times" behind a 330hp 40k car is beyond me...

My guess is your parents were born into money...Now take some time to think up all the dirty words you've learned over the past 16 years and fire away...

im not trying to say a 16 year old shouldnt drive a nice car...some are more mature about it then others, but when you post i floored it 10 times that just makes u look like a little kid that just finished watching the fast and the furious and your trying to be the next vin diesel....i myself got a brand new audi a4 quattro when i was 16, but i worked two jobs and saved up for it, but back to the important thing like any 16 year old male i went out and drove the car hard.....what happened next? blew the turbo twice, got suspended from driving twice for being way above 120mph and still i didnt learn my lesson until i got pulled over the third time for "FLOORING" the gas and taking a sharp turn just to screech out the tires...was it a smart move? NO but i learned from my mistakes and now take care of my sexy new G....if you get the car congrats, just think maturely about what you do with it...i learned from my mistakes

im not trying to be negative at all, im just trying to give him some some reality to what happens when you think like that to much, im pretty sure you had older family members try telling you the same kind of stuff when you were that age getting a new car

Yes, its good to give advice and there's nothing wrong at all giving good advice to youngin's especially if you made the same mistakes be 4 when u were younger...i just dont like when people bash and say sheit like "My guess is your parents were born into money...Now take some time to think up all the dirty words you've learned over the past 16 years and fire away..." That is just unnecessary.

^^^^THATS understandable since there really is no need to take it that far......parents work hard to make sure we all have the best of everything and some are more fortunate then others thats all there is to it....

AND he'll write me a check for 1100$ for my BMW 525i(moms). and im liek WHAHHHHHHH tell me if this is a good deal.
Put $0 down, because if the car is totalled, insurance won't give you back your $4000 on a lease. What you need to find out is what they put as the "capitalized cost" or "cost cap" on the contract. It should be about $39000 with $0 down, or $35000 with $4000 down. If the capitalized cost is more, then you're not getting a good deal. Also look out for excessive fees, you may think you're getting a good deal but then they tack on all these extra fees. Check sites like Edmunds.com to see how much your mom's car is worth.

3. Check these threads and you will find different information on different lease plans...im pretty sure your smart enough for that
i will think about number too often. yea ive been looking for lease prices people have been playing. dont seem to get this whole lease thing. oh and YES i will take care of it. im not those careless people. trust me. my parents were in the car i was just testing it.... hehe what am i supposed to say when my dad tells me to test the true power of the car when i was just going slow?

Threadjack warning but since this topic is so over done had to respond to the getting a nice car at 16 topic...You're lucky to get a G37 at 16! Don't know too many people that have a car in the G37 range at 16...Be warned people will hate on you...both on this board and on the road...People just get pissed off when they see kids in nice cars because they assume (correctly 95% of the time) that mommy/daddy bought the car for you and most people don't like mommy/daddy boys or girls...Jealousy..Is there anything wrong with mom/dad getting you this nice car? No, but other people have different opinions and will hate on you so don't let it bother you.

Couple of negatives of having a nice car like a G37 at 16:

10 years ago (when I was 16) I had an incredible 87 HP 1990 Geo Prism Hatchback LXI. It was a collectors item...only year they made a hatchback....Nice poop brown color...It was a good college car...I didn't feel too bad during college when people would door ding it or when someone bashed my bumper in and drove off and eventually when it was stolen...Also was good on gas...Pretend now, that I had a G37 instead of a Geo...Hopefully you're prepared for the door dings, bashed in bumpers, crappy gas mileage, and keyings if you decide to go to college and take the car with you. Enjoy it, but be careful. No one here wants to see something similar to what happened on the m5 forums a couple of months ago....
