Currently own a IP G35 Coupe...Being sold and I'm leasing a G37 Coupe...

Huge part of me loves the classy look of IP G's...But a part of me thinks that if I'm buying a new car (and the same car for that matter) that a color change should occur...Sooooooooo, to all those who have seen BOTH...And who now know my situation....

IP OR Obsidian Black for my 6MT G37 coupe???

 

Comon guys....A simple IP or OB post would suffice! Yes I'm THAT torn that I'm going to go with the overall vote getter...LMAO

 

IP and OB are boring, go with PG or Blue Slate.

 

Stick with IP. Super sexy, and much easier to keep clean.

 

Definitely stick with IP. Black is going to give you headaches with the swirl marks. I've owned a black car before and never will do it again. Sorry guys/girls who own the OB but you know what I am talking about.

 

If you can't even decide on a color, my OPINION is that you should get a Kia and spend the money you are saving from cheaper car payments on therapy.

Come on, a car is either simple transportation (which the G is not) or a personal expression (which the G really is). Since it is a personal expression, only you can decide which colors/options work best for you. If you are so removed from yourself so as to not be able to know and understand your own personal expression, get professional help.

I think IP is the greater of two evils here. OB is just way to hard to keep clean and looking good, when it is clean though no other color beats the look of OB. The problem is getting it there and maintaining it!

IP would be easier to clean and probably hides scratches and swirls better, but I can't stand that it is an off white and not a pure white. In certain lights you really see the "Ivory" portion come out and the car looks yellowish. But that's really just a subjective opinion.

 

Go IP bro, stick w/ what you know

I have black and love it, but I do have a detailer come once a week to wash it, and detailed about once a month as needed.

 

Don't choose IP or OB. Since you are so torn between the two, get a different color. You don't want to get an IP and be like "Damn I should have got the OB." You don't want to get an OB and be like "Damn I should have got the IP." So save yourself the trouble and choose a different color.
