Is this even possible?

Guys (and gals), I need your expertise:

Heres the deal...

My friend told me that a guy he knows got the following deal:

G37 Coupe Sport 6MT
Premium
Navi
Sport
15k miles
24 months

For $475 a month...

heres the kicker... he also said that it was with NO MONEY DOWN (besides first month + bank fee) and AFTER TAX.

I bet him $500 that was simply impossible.

So, to all you g37 lease experts out there... tell me im going to win!

Notes: I figure tax alone would have to be about $30 a month, and to have 15k miles is about $12-17 more a month... that alone would put ~$50 on top of the price which would make the car $425 a month?!? Seems absolutely nuts. FYI, were in NY.

LET THE DISCUSSION COMMENCE!

Will I be out $500?

Or will I be getting my car for free this month?

Id have to say in march... which would put it at a 75% residual, and a .195 MF?

Now that I reran it using those #'s, it doesnt look that impossible... uh oh...

(man, things changed a lot since I leased in Dec...)

And I know someone that got one for for $350.

Have your "friend" produce a contract with all this information or collect your $500. Only way to get that payment was with a cash cap reduction aka "down payment".

So youre friend got one for $350 with a cap reduction...? yea, that makes sense..

As I mentioned above, I reran the #'s using march's MF, and residual, and it DOES look possible if he paid invoice. If he paid anymore, its not possible.

So if the lease is one penny above $479.99 while taking into account all other factors, I win... I will wait for him to produce a contract...

I think those numbers are do-able...i was given something just around that for 15k / month (actually a few bux less). I did 12k / month, paying 391 /month, $0 cap cost reduction, bank fee + 1st month up front, and i chose to pay taxes up front...if i didnt pay taxes up front, with tax wouldve been 429/month for this deal, with the same exact options you listed (and a few more). I know it seems ridiculous and impossible, but things can be done. I guess march was good?

15k/month wouldve been an extra $13 so go figure that calculation...id be looking at around $450 /month if it were 15k.
You might lose a bet here...but hey who knows...i mean people didnt believe me either
