Online BS

Hello,
I emailed a couple dealerships within SoCal asking for invoice price. However, some of them gave me some bs prices. Does anyone has a good referal(name of agent and location of dealership) I can contact?

Thanks!

Hey joesmith, remember it is a game. Most places won't give you the best deal just buy emailing them. A lot of times you will have to go to the dealer and deal with them in person. It is a game so both of you are playing to win for your side. The want the most profit while you want the lowest price. The game is to find a good middle ground that you both can live will BUT it does require you to do the work on your end as well.

I hope you can get an answer from someone on here but if the car you want is not already on the lot then it will be very difficult for you to get invoice. And remember a lot of time it may take months for you to get the deal.

Hey joesmith,

I'm in SoCal also. Requested quotes from 3 dealers. Recieved about 20 emails but only ONE had a quote. The quote was not even for the options I asked.
I went through the Edmunds site for the quotes. Waste of time.

Let us know what you find...

I understand that there is a 'middle ground' for both sides. I can't imagine to get too close to an invoice price. But I am hoping with the economy downturn, there is a better chance of getting a good deal. Anyway, I have wasted most of my time last week trying to work with some of those dealers, but no luck. I'll give couple more dealers a try. If it still dosesn't work out, I'll wait until after this summer.

Keng, thanks for the referal! Do u mind telling me what you got and what you paid for?

thank you.

Joe

if your going through internet work with fleet sales, they are more into units vs. comissions, that's how they get paid. Be very clear, tell them EXACTLY what you want, get the price w/ options on edmunds, and tell them thats EXACTLY what you will pay. If not look at another dealership. Good news in So Cali they are trying to sell these cars, dealerships are stocked with them and they are working with customers. Things are alot different from last winter. Everything is in your favor.
For references, avoid Tustin Infiniti!!!!!
Montclair Infiniti is who I worked with, Jodie there is an internet/fleet sales manager, won't bull**** you if you are straight up 100% with her, she loves to sell cars.

Check out this quote from Santa Monica Infiniti, and you also can check Glendale of Infiniti. I heard Glendale of Inifiniti's the only one Infiniti dealership in Socal offered the customer "Invincible price"

Hi XXX,

I just left you a voice message but I thought I would send you some of the information via email so you would have it. We do have the G37 Coupe with the automatic transmission in Black with the Premium and Sport packages. The MSRP of the vehicle is $41,025 and our selling price is $37,151. This quote is good through the end of February so let's touch base soon and see what we can do.

Thank you,

Juliet Sanchez

I got mine from Santa Monica Infiniti for invoice+500 back in November. I'd recommend Aaron McCroskey and let him know that you heard of him from Danny on the forum. I think if you're willing to seal the deal and not just shop around for prices, he should be able to give you very close to invoice.

Invoice - 345 here (for a friend), car was on the lot and WHITE (not the most popular color). Added 595 bank fee and 250 dealer fee + taxes + tag transfer, so Invoice is definitely possible. How much time do u have though ? Is it worth it ?

vrb747 - what is the "dealer fee"? That looks suspiciously like dealer profit...

LOL, Im sure it was! I could not argue, since the net sales price was Invoice - $95. And for RIPOFF SoFLa, it was just mindboggling to get a dealer at or below invoice. You have NO IDEA what scumbags we have to put up with down here.
