My first test drive!!!

I drove a LP G37S Journey yesterday, this would be my first time to drive a real fast car. I was thinking that there was a normal gas pedal but then looked down and it was different from all my other cars. SO we left the dealership, and the salesman didn't even tag along like our Honda salesman did. So I started going with my dad in the passenger side, and he wasn't very impressed because he didn't like the exhaust note/noise. So I let the car warm up a bit, after that I pushed down on the accelerator(not knowing what to expect) and oh boy did it take off....My head and back went straight to the seat. THEN MY DAD WAS IMPRESSED. Now i gotta convince him.. He wants me to get a 2008 Honda Accord V6 Coupe, but I want the G.

If you go top of the line accord with a top of the line G37, he will prob be looking at a 8-9k difference. Two diff cars, Accord is nothing compared to the G.

I had an Accord before my G. I loved the accord but it was such a big car. Lacked power & torque. I agree with Solo, it's a great car for a new driver.

Oh no I've been driving for 2 years now and I know the do's and don'ts with cars b/c i already totaled my first car which was a toyota camry then I got a 06 Mercedes ML350, which I still own and then a 07 toyota camry, which i recently sold. I think it's time to move up to the next level. The accord looks good, but its not what I want. The only reason I can't get the G right now is because of the efin gas prices, and somewhat b/c of insurance.

I would recommend gettin a used g35c due to the reasons above in red. If you have to have a G that would be the road i would take. It will get you familiar to the power and the way a G drives. This will help you on insurance a little and if you have another accident...you wont have jacked a new 2k8 37. Then after a year to two years... get a new one. *just an idea*

Agreed.

Test drive the G35c and compare it with the accord.

haha, I guarantee you don't know the do's and don'ts with cars after only 2 years.

Personally I think states should have horsepower laws for minors.

^totally disagree, horsepower laws....hahahaha.... My friend has a 500+rwhp on his cobra and believe me he will not stop driving... I would only agree with this law only if senior citizens got retested for their driving licenses after the age of 60.... You'd be surprised by the amount of people that would fail... just a thought no offense intended.
