I'll need to get all season tires...or skip the sport package and get 18s then get some 19s in the spring time.....thoughts.
could probably get a better body kit....anyone have pics of how it looks with abnd without the sport package?

If you're contemplating the sport package just for the looks, I wouldn't get it. You can just get the wheel & tire package and save money from the dealer. You should only consider the sport package if you want it for the added performance touches, such as the bigger brakes, tuned suspension, and better LSD.
Just my own opinion, but if you are getting this car you are doing an injustice to it by not getting the Sport Package. Its like having this hot girlfriend who's got all the right curves but making her put on some huge bulky clothes and a ski-mask.
Ok so thats not the best analogy. Do what you want man, but IMHO, the G37 is not a complete car without the Sport Package.

Although I do think that anyone who wants a G37 with or without the sport package is still better off than an alternate vehicle.
This car will probably meet your everyday performance needs even without the sport package. But without LSD hmmmm... I would get the sport package for that alone. If the non-sport came with LSD then there wouldn't be much of an extreme difference as regards handling alone. Handling feel on the other hand goes to the sport hands down. You get a quicker steering ratio and less body roll in the turns. But for everyday driving the non-sport will suit you just fine and will be sporty enough for those who want a refined driving experience but are not quite as picky as the rest of us.

Seriously, LSD and the big brakes make it worth the money for those alone. There is no difference in the appearance of the car with sport vs without it except for the "G37S" badge on the rear.
But I wouldn't go as far as saying that the car isn't worth getting without the sports package. I haven't driven a non S model, but i'm sure it's still a nice drive. Plus, it's not like there's a difference engine wise. You still get the same amount of power as the S models do. But I do love the way my G37S drives now. I came from a modded G35 that didn't have the sport package, and the handling of the G37S is much better. I can make turns with so much more power now.
But like I said, you still get the same power. It's not like comparing a regular Impreza to an STI model. Plus, it sounds like he wants the car for the looks.

You would have to spend some time on the track to ever even notice the things that the sport package gives you. How often do you take a corner so fast that you need a way to apply more power as you are sliding? Then you don't need LSD. How often do you slam on the brakes from 50-100 mph repeatedly to the point where your brakes are overheating? Then you don't need upgraded brakes. The stiffer suspension will give you better cornering at high speeds but also a rougher ride. Do you need to improve your lap times by 3 seconds? Then you don't need stiffer suspension. Get the wheels and tires if you like them.

No one has mentioned that you must have the sport pkg to get the upgraded seats as well. A major plus in my book and worth the money. In fact, when you consider everything that comes in the sport pkg it is the most bang for the buck in my opinion of all the options.
