Just got a quote from fleetrates for journey w/ prem/nav 39 month 12k per year..
$4,000 total out of pocket due at inception
$503 a month

Term: 39
Base Payment: 503.00
Total Payment: 503.00

Anybody dealt with them or know what the deal is? Im having a hard time finding anything on them but the deal looks right where I would like to be. Im going to do more research but I wanted some input from people.

Do you know what the money factor and residual are? I never like putting much down on a lease. It seems with that much down your real close to what the dealer should be able to do for you.

With just taxes up front we were at 550. If I can get the dealer to be around there, Id much rather do it with the dealer. There has been about a $25 difference with the taxes up front, and working with a starting cost discounted an extra $1500 lowers taxes as well. Im willing to come out of pocket now because Im in a good enough place moneywise right now to do it, and if I decide I want to move to a different field Id rather have lease payments at $50 less a month just to give me the flexibility. $50 wont break the bank but peace of mind is worth it. Thats just me though. Thats really where I would like to be payment wise, I just dont know about this fleetrates.com...

crysis, I have been asking around like you are about fleetrates.com. Their money factors are very, very good compared to the dealers. I just don't understand why if their MFs are so good why everyone who leases doesn't go through them, or a place like them?

I dont know, ultimately I didn't trust it, when Infiniti MF is pretty much standard and nobody coming off it. Plus I didnt feel like traveling down into jersey a couple of hours to go see the car and whatnot. Im gonna stick around my area and take the best deal I found over here.

Exactly, what is the catch here, there has to be something? I'm looking to get a G37 in Feb 08 and want to get the best deal. From this forum, I was turned on to Fleetrates (no membership) and Leasecompare.com, but I'm skeptical because it's too good to be true. I believe G_Thang got he G37 from Fleetrates for like $500 a month (I think he is on this Forum). I don't know what to do, I'll guess I just have to wait and see, hopefully around the time I'm trying to get the G, dealership lease programs are better. Keep you finger crossed!!

39 months on a lease?

You might as well finance if you're going to keep it or do a two year lease.
