wonder how sales are

My local dealer is offering a coupon in the local paper for 1 free monthly payment on 36 and 39 month leases I would think it is a little early since the car has only been out a few weeks I wonder if sales of the coupe are off a little I know alot of people have been complaining about the lease prices

I don't think they're moving as much as they thought they would because I know my dealer has been sitting on a few for a while. Each time I talk to my salesman, he insists that he doesn't have to take anything off of msrp because he doesn't have to, but I think he's full of $h!t. I have now driven a base model and the 6MT. I still enjoy the driving experience of my '04 6MT better, so I will not get this car unless the price comes down significantly.

Moving very slow at both dealers in St Louis. They have about 40 cars for sale on the two lots and it has been at this level for the last two weeks. The SA I spoke to was really disappointed in the traffic to see the car as well, despite two introductory events, one in August and one last week.

To me, I'm glad that sales are slow. It means I get my car sooner than if it wasn't!

When G35 came out, it was a great package. (Cheaper, Better Performance, Great Looks, etc) But the G37 is not THAT different than G35. So I don't think it has that brand new "cool" factor. I know few people who thought G37 was just a G35 with body kits. They didn't see any major difference. Of course we know it's totally different car, but the general public doesn't.

datz funny that G37s stay in the dealership lots, lol, cuz those G37s really hard to keep in stock in Toronto area. we've got about 16 cars, when it came out, 10 of them were pre-sold and 4 of them were sold on same week. Finally,we r usin last 2 as a display and test drive. Also, we gave up FIVE G35 sedans to trade TWO G37 to be delivered by this week!!

itz HOT sellin car in my area for some reason...lol

P.S> Thanks for a quick reply on my posting
now i know dat G37s alot CHEAPER IN AMERICA!! LOL

Sales are hot in Houston

West Houston Infiniti is selling every G37 they can get. Sold 23 this month with only 5 coming in the rest of the month. Two were left at the dealers a few days ago, one 6MT without sport and a demo which they wont sell to make sure they have something for potential buyers to test drive. Sounds like it all depends on which part of the country you live in for sales story.

I went to a dealer in the OC yesterday and I asked the sales guy how many they had. He replied with "I don't know...how many do you need." He then reluctantly said "about 15." To me it doesn't look like they are selling that well and they don't want people to know it. I have not tried to deal yet because the current discounts are too low, but it looks like that might soon change.

I dunno hows car deal processd in states, but area Im at(Toronto) it is not too bad in terms of discount rate. I did about 3 excludin 2, that waitin for credit apps to go through, it was about 1G to 1.5G off on top of msrp. There were one deal that I took off about 2.5G to ma old friend and manager approved it. Remember, dealership makes money by selling cars!!

Now Im waiting for ma G37 to be discounted for employees but manager wont do the deal.
