How long to order?

I am not looking to get my next car, most likely a G37, until next June or July time. I was wondering how long it would take for me to order the exact car I want from Infiniti. It seems that most of the G's coming in are fully loaded and although that is great, it puts the car a bit out of my price range. I'd like to order a somewhat base model with only the options I want which will help on the monthly payment. Any insight into the ordering time frame would be much appreciated.

I'm not 100% on this, im sure a better authority on this can tell you for sure... but i remember hearing that it takes at least 3 months from the time you put in ur order to the time your car arrives here.

3 months from order to delivery. Could vary depending on which time of the month you get ur order in, but i blv 3 months should be a good round bout estimate

That's what I'm looking for. This means I should put the order in sometime in March, probably after our wedding. The wedding is the gift to her and the car can be the gift to me haha.

Yeah, the usual wait time from when you place your order is 3-4 months, so March or so would be when you would want to order.

Who knows, I may even be able to get closer to invoice pricing by then...probably not though. I may end up holding out longer and pick up a new 09 depending on how good of pricing I can get on an 08.

I was quoted 3 month(they only order once a month, in the 1st week) to get an ordered vehicle, $1000 deposit(refundable) plus an added $4000 to MSRP. Buying in CA is an option, but, their sales tax is 1% higher.

What about AZ? I would try there and it is not to far from La Vegas.

Yea im kinda in the same situation but i am looking to recieve mine during december. So your saying i would have to have mine ordered now? Bc im looking forward to get it during the beging of dec. Im also tight on payments so like i might part out the prem package so forth.

Also im looking to get closer to the invoice price by december but if i order it now would they give me the price there running for now which is the MSRP or would they negotiate like they would in december when i actually buy the car.

My dealer stated, order in 1st week of Sept with $1000 refundable deposit, when vehicle is actually at the dealer, then we would negotiate the selling price. IF not happy with price, $1000 cheerfully refunded...My guess is that 3 mo is not going to make much difference in the dealers pricing structure. More to be gained waiting until model year end.
