2nd revision was still jerky under 3200. 3rd revision seems much better. I dont think the hesitation is there anymore. Going to data log in a bit to see if there's anymore below 32oo rpm.

Busy weekend.
fixed both drain tubes and added my oil pressure guage. I used a sandwich adapter as the horror stories about the oem sending unit breaking were frightening.

Catch can diy

Followed the diy over at my350z
super easy and simple. I originally had a pcv delete and vent to atmosphere and the vapor filled the cabin with noxious fumes.

Went back to stock but noticed after tuning my pcv hose had lots of moisture in them. Decided catch can. Wanted something cheap to start with so I can learn and understand the system before getting a quality unit.

Im looking into getting Soho to tune my car right now. btw what size tires are you running? Both of your setups look good im leaning towards the look of the varrstoen, im actually thinking about going that route myself.

I used these 90deg plastic fittings from autozone for my set up. You might have to buy that and pull the fitting off and they will fit our stock PCV. Over time the heat + vacuum might cause the hose to collapse, this fitting helps prevent that because it'll be less bends over that hot area

pulled carpet and found some water had migrated front to back and was trapped so osmosis could not.occur. cleaned it all up now will hose her down to verify tubes are flowing proper.

Back on stock exhaust. Enjoying the quiet. With the carpet removed the obx exhaust was too loud. I wasnt ready to abandon my lightweight and beautification process of the interior so im buying an invidia q300. If its too loud still i have a magnaflow resonated X pipe on the shelf.

So the interior strip was a failure in a sense and in another a blessing in disguise. Hear me out. So I needed to remove the carpet to kill mold and pickup excess water. With the carpet out I thought a good idea to remove the sound deadening for weight reduction and beautification as I thought I may leave the carpet out. Turns out that sound deadening really keeps alot a ton of road noise out. As well excessive exhaust noise. With it removed my OBx made a nasty rasp noise audible in cabin. Not to mention the sound deadening was only 8-10 pounds at most. Needless to say it was a bust, but motivated me to finally get a higher end exhaust that I've been wanting to replicate cheap.
soooooo I purchased some new sound deadening and installed that along with the now dry carpet. And a brand new motordyne catback!! All in all dont remove the sound deadening and just buy a quality exhaust the first time.

Very colorful pictures. Tips are pretty. I like the round better than oval.

Do you have plans to paint your trunk, or is that the end-game? Not that you have an end-game. You just keep going and going... it's quite the hobby.
