Thanks in major part to this forum, I made my first post-college, significant purchase in April 2017 of a 2013 Moonlight White 7AT G37x. I had a Maxima before this (which I abused), so I was leaning strongly toward another Nissan/Japanese car; I did my due diligence and did a lot of research on this forum and here I am... I'm happy with my choice and the price that I paid for the car. I may have enjoyed an "s" a little more, but I'm enjoying the hell outta this car so far. I did a reasonable amount of non-performance work on my Maxima, and I look forward to expanding upon that experience with this car.

Anyways, I want to start this build thread to:

1. Keep a record for personal use and peace of mind
2. Contribute any information that I have/gain to those who are lurking like I did (the circle of life in this forum?)

So here is my G the day after I picked it up, in all of its glory:




Soon as the sun came up, I took out some dental floss and goo gone and removed the dealership decals and de-badged the Infiniti logo.


The first significant mod I'll do will be either wheels and tires or sways. Nonetheless, I look forward to updating this thread and this car for years to come, trying to keep on-topic as a build thread, and hoping I can contribute something valuable amongst the pros in here.

09/06/2017 I picked up some IPL wheels for an unbelievable deal and had them put on. I'll be replacing the front tires soon, and it is obviously sitting tall (being AWD), so I'll be considering a slight drop.








But, a rock shattered my driver's side fog light this week. So I'll be taking care of that next. Contemplating if I should just replace with OEM (maybe used) or upgrade to Morimotos.
