I've had my car for about a year and never made a build thread. Here in the near future I plan on adding a few mods, so I figured now would be a good time.
Beginning of last year (2016) I debated for approximately 2 months on what I wanted to get. I was switching out of a 14' Lexus IS250, which was a lease at the time. I did extensive amount research on 335i',s M3's, and even thought about sticking with Lexus and looked into the IS350's. Never considered the G37s because at the time I didn't know the G37 sedan came in 6MT, which manual had a lot to do with the decision I was going to make. After long hours of searching on forums, I found this site and began to explore.
I made my decision that i wanted a 2012 G37s sedan 6MT. The problem was that on autotrader and cars, there were maybe 4 within a 250 mile radius. Long story short, I found my car about 2 hours away, and based on the price tag, warranty included, and overall condition of the vehicle, I could not leave the dealership without it.
TL;DR
Last year I bought a 2013 G37s sedan 6MT after countless hours of trying to make up my mind. I'm just now getting to make a build thread
So now the fun stuff
The day I bought the vehicle:
This is how it currently sits & current mods
BC Racing Coilovers
Rohanna RC10s 20x9 +35 245/35/20 fronts
20x10 +40 285/30/20 rears
3mm spacer in the front
SPC rear camber arms and toe bolts
I actually just got the car back from the shop. I was a victim of the notorious CSC failure. Fortunately enough for me it was completed covered under warranty. With that being said my very next mod is going to be the RJM Clutch pedal.
I'm also looking for ideas on shift ***** and exhausts. My OEM one has seen better days. Looking for something basic, but sleek at the same time. So please anyone chime in on the ***** and exhaust setups.
Next mods,
RJM Clutch Pedal
Shift ****
Exhaust
Intakes

I use a 3mm spacer up front with my Vossens. And here I thought I was the only one.
/subbed
3mm was the largest I could go without changing out the studs or anything like that. At some point I'll get hubcentric spacers with extended stubs to bring the fronts more flush with the fender. For now it works.
As for the STS, I did tons of research last night as i sat on my **** for 12 hours at work in front of a pc. Now i'm all over the place as to what I want to do after the RJM clutch pedal. STS and shift **** were high on the list. Originally I wanted to do an exhaust first, but I read numerous (one being yours I believe) on how nice the feeling is with the RJM and STS together.
I'm very easy to pursue, so if anyone else has cheaper mods that they want to recommend feel free. I can put the exhaust and intakes on the back burner. After all I've had loud cars my whole life, including my ZX6R now, so the quietness is appreciated for the time being

I don't know what that means, but it reads like you're trying to prioritize things. There's no real right or wrong here, it's your car.
Cheapest, most impactful mods for the least cost... that would be the RJM pedal and swaybars.

You don't have to go from quiet to racket all at once. Spread out the install for cats and the catback separately. A new set of catalytic converters matched up to your OEM catback would give you a little extra noise, and a noticeable add in power. Nothing shocking in either area, but noticeable and nice nonetheless.
I had to google what a ZX6R is. Yikes!
