My hood lift struts have been failing for some time now but last Sunday I was at a car meet and I wanted to leave my hood open but it kept closing so I finally decided to buy some new ones and boy I should have changed them long ago.
Also, I installed the cusco strut bar type OS which was easier to install than I thought. (don't pay attention to the dirty garage lol)

Mod updates

I ordered the VIS Racing Ams Carbon Fiber Hood and it should be here next week!
I also ordered a carbon fiber duckbill trunk but no ETA yet but I'm guessing another 2 weeks.

My hood is scheduled to arrive today between 12pm-5pm and I'm so hyyyyyype woke up at 5:30am and I couldnt fall asleep again lol smh

 

Ok my hood is finally here! will put it on in a bit but here's a sneak peek for now hehe

 

Alright the carbon fiber hood is on! It was not too bad to install.
The part that holds the hose that shoots the water to the window needs some fooling around with but other than that fits like a glove.
I love the way it came out; now I just need the CF duckbill trunk to arrive =\
Next week I will put a ceramic coat on top of it and later on I will clear coat it to protect it from fading.
