Well seems like Im always forgetting to update this thing. So as of recent I'm having my A pillars carbon fibered, still waiting on trim to get done

We were to have so custom work done to my grille but unfortunately that got put on the back burner.

I did change my oil couple weeks back after the trip up to Zdays, fresh Motul and I ended up going with the Fumoto oil drain valve in hops to making that process even that much easier. Install was obviously straight forward and very simple. I am concerned if that plastic "lock" will stay on over time. Guess I'll find out sooner than later. I did end up going with the F103S as it has the shorter nipple. With the way its angled/aligned I dont foresee how it could hit anything.

F103S - Engine Oil Drain Valve with Short Nipple 12mm-1.25 | FUMOTO

I also fixed the calipers, they no longer squeak and the pads now fit loosely like they should after having to sand down the inner portion of the calipers due to the powder being to thick. Also flushed all fluids and added some Motul 600. I did have an issue with a couple of the lettering peel off in the rear calipers. Not very happy with the quality of stickers and especially for the price of them. Not sure what to do at this moment as I do want to buy another set from the same guy but he was also the only one who offers them in oil slick. I'll get some pics of the calipers up soon as the car hasnt been washed since Ive been back now which is nearly a month at this point. To my defense though, it has been raining almost every day.

I did end up going back to a modded GTR button to match the red interior theme. This time around I went very simple with:

LOCK : Red
ACC: Purple
ON: Red
Start/Stop: Red
Engine: Purple

Last but certainly not least...got some more JDM goodies in. One of which is I finally got my hands on the very rare and out of production ARC catch can/coolant combo tank. I'm currently looking for some an fittings and hoses to ensure it matches the theme. Right now finding alot of mixed feedback with sizing, I've read that -10an fits decent with no rubbing where as -12an fits perfect but has slight rubbing. May have to bite the bullet and just buy 1 of each to see which I prefer unless someone can chime in on this.

sorry guys, its definitely bitter sweet. Besides a few more cosmetic things left, car looks so different now.

The family is ok, this was what was best so once everything is said and done, we''ll see what I can get into and god willing back into one of my favorite hobbies.

Well never thought I’d be back here….not in a bad way….but it’s been 7 years since I sold this beauty. About 2 months ago my brother informed me that he came across my old car on FB marketplace. The guy I sold it to lived in Minnesota, so how on earth he saw the add is beyond me other than fate. I reached out and after a few weeks we finally came to terms. This time, the car was bought for my daughter to drive. She turns 15 in November and we’ve always talked about this car, buying her a manual so she would be occupied with driving and not on her phone and more importantly NONE of her friends will be able to drive it! 😈

I worked out the timing with having the vehicle shipped down to FL as I did have time to fly up and drive it back as well as I did t want all the mileage on her either. My daughter happened to be up in Gatlinburg for summer vacation and I got the car delivered 2 days before she arrived home. I cleaned her all up and surprised my daughter with Scarlett being back home!

Lucky for me I sold the car to a fellow car enthusiast who kept the car in a climate controlled garage as well as he took great care of the car. Never drove in the snow/salt…only during spring/summer. For a car that’s now 12 years old she’s in great shape with only a few little flaws here and there. The car was only driven 33k miles in the past 7 years of ownership. Needless to say my daughter has been ecstatic and lots of friends and family couldn’t believe I was able to buy the car that I’ve talked about for the last 7 years back. This time will be slow as my daughter still needs to learn how to drive her as well as the mods will be more oriented towards safety first with some esthetics here and there.

Here are some pictures of the car being dropped off from the carrier as well as I could not contain the joy and instant nostalgia sitting in the car. Excuse the blurriness as the car was delivered at 2am. And a couple pics of my daughters reaction. VERY excited to start this next chapter with my daughter and making memories.

Added some led switchbacks for drl and brighter turn signals. It’s nice having newer bulbs with resistors built in. And just learned the site does t like videos and some pics to be uploaded?? Well this is the only pic it would allow me to upload. Next up will be fogs…..had morimoto in the past and they are hard to beat for the quality and output. Anyone running anything else that’s good output?

After much debate and having my daughter listen to god knows how many clips….was looking for a budget friendly exhaust this go around with a tone she likes. Never was fan of the single exit but the deal was too good to pass up. Hopefully can get it installed tomorrow.

Curious to see how the single exit sounds with OEM cats, pretty sure all of them I've heard in person had test pipes.

well you know me and my previous adventures with exhausts. I can honestly say it has a very close Motordyne sound! Nice deep rumble, zero rasp, and even some nice pops on rev match and down shifting. I’m still tempted to throw on a set of Berk resonated tp’s as all of the vids I’ve heard with that setup sounded great with no rasp but we’ll see.

unfortunately I’ve discovered that the clutch master cylinder is going out so I’m looking to replace this weekend hopefully.
