What's up guys? My name is T, from the Los Angeles area and welcome to my build thread. I purchased my 08 G37 none sport( smh at myself) a few months back with the intentions on leaving it stock. The reason I purchased my G was because I have a Yamaha R-1(motorcycle for those who don't know what that is) which is pretty damn fast and powerful and the issue I was having was that the car I had at the time, although it was a V-6, going from the bike to the car was a big difference. I'd get in my car and smash the gas and feel like I wasn't going anywhere lol. Got feed up with that so I ran out and purchased my G and I must say it was life changing. Love the car, just should of gotten the S. Now I have some researching to do I'm thinking about adding twin turbo setup. I'm new to this world so any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks of stopping by and checking out my build thread.

Here's a few pics of my bike

Yesterday a friend I installed the Tein Stech Spring. We ran into a SLIGHT issue while working on the front passenger side, after pulling the old spring off and about put the new one on the shock started spitting out oil. So drove around looking for some replacement shocks....(side eye) Auto zone, O'reilly nor Napa carried front shocks for the car and they were also telling me that the car came with coilovers...smh!!! Checked with a Nissan dealer, they said go to Infiniti, called the infiniti deal and they told me it's a special order. Needless to say I still need a front right shock. BUT I must say, even after 2 hours of running around and coming up short, I extremely excited about the stance the car has taken with these new springs.

Nice job, too bad about the shock. Monroe also makes replacements, your local NAPA might have them if you haven't already ordered some.

Here's a couple of updated pictures of the car after installing the Tein S Tech and letting them settle for 9 days. I'm defiantly loving the new stance and the attitude it gives the look of the car but I almost want to raise the back a little, feel that it sags ever so slightly. So I'm thinking about getting a set of coilovers so I can dial in what I feel is the right height. No sure what brand I would go with but I'm gonna do some research and see what best fits my needs.

Yeah, those S Techs dump pretty low, I'd look into the Tein Basis Z coilovers, you could just keep your springs in front for the near term and eventually run coils F&R. They go for about $500 shipped.

I was looking at those, do you know how they feel in relation to the stock springs or S Tech springs?

Never ridden in a G equipped w/ them but the spring rates are lighter than other coilovers and from all I've read they offer a pretty decent ride, shouldn't be as firm as your S Techs but firmer than OEM.

Member Rochester runs the coilovers in back w/ his Swift springs in front and has been happy, might also shoot a PM to 4DRZ, he has quite a bit of time on them now, and AFAIK he's liking that setup.
