Mr Nurner's Moonlight White G37xS

Hello everyone, my name is Nick and this is the build thread for my 2011 QAA xS Sedan. I originally bought this car in Feb 2015, new to me via private sale. before that I had a leased 2013 Fusion that, while a decent car, it did not fill the shoes of the G. Before I leased I was eyeballing 09 Gs but due to other life circumstances I wound up getting into the lease. Once the lease was up I went right back to searching for the G sedan I really wanted. Lo and behold I found her, white with black, navigation, tech and awd. (she's my daily driver so I needed something for winters in West Michigan). Well before the purchase, I had her first set of mods already picked out and some already purchased awaiting install. Follow our journey here and please, enjoy the progression of Willow.

Sadly I've switched phones so many times that, I could only dig up one picture from the seller before I bought the car:

Upon seeing the pictures from the seller I immediately hopped over to BumperPlugs.com and ordered a set of plugs since MI is a no front plate state and it takes away from the front of the car.
Once I actually got the car home I installed/did the following:
- installed Bumper plugs
- installed VLEDS V3 Tritons for the rear blinkers (red), and switchbacks (5k/orange) for the front.
- installed leftover 3k HID kit for the fogs on a separate switch and harness to control independently from headlights.
- installed leftover 5k leds about the interior
- got windows tinted
- removed "INFINITI" from the trunk lid
- removed mufflers

After the small initial mods and later in the summer more mods began:
- to get me thru the rest of the year and save up for real wheels and tires, I plasti dipped the stockers black with blue metalizer
- dipped the rear spoiler to match the wheels, got bored with that and ended up doing white dip with pearlizer on the spoiler as well as the rear emblems.
- dipped the front emblem and mirror caps black with gloss

Then came the front chin spoiler and oem splashguards

Then mid summer I placed a decent sized order and installed:
- white powder coated Akebonos
- stoptech slotted rotors and hawk hps pads and SS lines
- hotchkis sways f/r
- eibach prokit
- cusco strut bar
- k&n drop in air filters
- hps silicone intake hoses in blue
- blue ground wire for diy grounding kit
- spc camber arms front and rear
- z speed belly pan to aid in combat with snow and ice
- fortin evo plug/program/play remote start with t-harness
+ with the exception of window tint and the front strut/springs I've done all the work to this car by myself. so naturally it's becoming quite the relationship. +

other mods after the summer stuff:
- metallic black roof wrap
- roof spoiler painted black with a dusting of QAA midcoat
- rgb led interior ambient lighting

March 2016: 20x9 Squared Setup:

waiting to be installed:
- autokits-x rear spoiler, i still need to prep and paint it. (will be QAA)
- morimoto led fogs.
- 20" wheels and tires, should be delivered during this coming week (03/20/2016)

planned: (in no particular order)
- muffler delete straight pipes, possibly with ark tips, maybe resonated maybe not, can't decide.
- catless/test pipes (after I have an actual exhaust system, too loud with muffler deletes)
- some kind of cold air intake
- motordyne intake manifold
- tune
- diy painted headlights
- clear projector lenses for the headlights
- osram CBIs
- wrap the mirror caps and maybe greenhouse chrome trim with leftover metallic black vinyl
- wrap the interior trim with vinyl, maybe blue, maybe white, undecided
- wrap the A and B pillars and headliner with black micro suede
- ark grip exhaust, down the road some day, i'm happy with the sound of the muffler delete for the most part except some rasp at high rpm.
- air ride but may just settle at coilovers
- mysterious other stuff that will later present itself to me, lol. the modding never ends.

This was the first thing that came to mind...hit me right in the childhood.
Keep up the work, car is begging for a clean set of wheels to set it all off.

Yes, lowered on stock struts. Hopefully they last until I can get coils.

Finally Got the Wheels on

Wheels came in Wed, the weather has been up and down cold here, got a chance to get them on and get some pictures! Car is dirty, it's been too cold to get her a proper bath. Wheels are Blaque Diamond BD-1, not true directionals, which is fine by me, I kind of like the look being different on each side. They are 20x9 +25 all around on NT-555 245/35/20, Graphite with Machined Face. Enjoy!
