My 2009 G37xS aka Rea

Hey guys just wanted to share my G. Currently sitting at almost 68k and still look back at it after parking it! Have had no problems with it just regular synthetic oil changes and major services at 30k and 60k. Here is my build:

Wow, definitely a looker. I love it.

And IMO, I think this front end looks better than the 2010+ sport. Love the orange akebonos.

Thanks man. Yeah there are some days where this front end looks so good and then when I see a 2010+ sport front I want it!

Also, I picked up my OEM decklid spoiler for $186 shipped from InfinitiPartsUSA which is a steal.

Very clean! Love the brakes. I gave in and did the 2010+ front sport end swap on my 09 with the sport lip. You'll love it, no question. It's fairly simple too, just don't forget to get the 2010+ washer fluid reservoir, no dice without it.
on the chrome trim delete, that's my next project.

Bocian, thanks! I was wondering if I have the Injen CAI it came with a different washer fluid reservoir that I had to install so I would be alright without getting it? Yeah you will be completely amazed how much the chrome delete will make a difference.

I'd check with injen if that cai you have works with the 2010+ g37s sedan, if it's the same one then you should be good to go with the reservoir. The reason the reservoirs differ is because the 2010+ sport bumper has fog light cradles that extend in and around where the reservoir sits. HTH

I already have my fog light trim wrapped in black vinyl, along with the front grille and emblem painted black and that did a world of difference, now I just need to find some time to do the door trim. It's gloss right? Would you do it again in gloss or maybe flat black? Just curious

Yeah I will for sure contact Injen cause I don't want to run into any problems and have to wait for something. Yeah I have gloss black vinyl but even if I did it again I would keep it gloss since the B pillars were gloss from factory and since the car is black it kinda just keeps it all flowing together IMO.

Awesome job all around! Great choices w/ the caliper color, the rotor details, the blacked out trim, wheel color and style, A+ IMO.
Any problem getting that GTR **** installed, and getting that shift boot nice & flush around it? Looks factory clean.

Thanks blnewt means a lot! Did not have any problems at all installing it. Once I got the silver clip off the original one I put a few small dots of superglue on the bottom of it and let it dry for a while and is rock solid now. Feels great just holding it while driving.

Update: The 2010+ front sport conversion is finally complete! Purchased a slightly used ARK exhaust from a friend so has that signature VQ sound now. Currently in process of getting the Bella Duckbill trunk installed which should be done by the end of the week. Next week is installation of Stance SS coilovers!

Headlights modified by Zworks:
-Audi TTRS Solar Orange
-Quad Halos
-Morimoto 5500k HID bulbs
-Morimoto XB 5500k LED foglights
-VLED 5000k switchback blinker bulbs
-Flat black housing

Foglight rings painted Obsidian Black as well.

The conversion probably all said and done ran me close to $1800. Got a really good deal on the sport bumper and the grill which kept the costs down.

Wow, you've really kept this going onward and upward. Great exhaust setup and those lights are very well done. Congrats, and looking forward to more pics. Be sure to post some reviews of those parts too, especially those coilovers when you get some time on them.
