Lol, where was this thread hiding Gayle? I saw bit & pieces but not all together. Love what you've been up to, very nice & unique touches throughout. Keep it up!

Thanks. I was trying to bring more traffic to the EX forums, but yeah.....that didn't work out to well. But I'll be doing a lot more with the car now that the weather is changing. I hate working on stuff in the heat

Okay...so this happened

So now I'm at a crossroad. I don't know if I should leave the trim off and try to get it wrapped. Can it even be wrapped like that (of course I would remove the rest of the broken trim)? Should I buy a replacement trim piece and then have that wrapped?

Are the ones for the G's glued on also? I feel like I was under the impression that there were clips, mine seems to be all one piece. I dunno...maybe I'm not pulling hard enough

Ouch! There are clips (pawls) that hold most of the pieces, they seem very brittle but from my experience they can handle most of the prying, snapping, etc. pretty well. Here's my DIY, should be a couple links in the first post that will help as they should be very similar in setup. https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...m-project.html

Cool thanks!!! Was there any type of adhesive behind your door trim? There was some behind mine which led me to believe that there were no clips. I ordered the trim, so hopefully I can affix it with some type of adhesive. Tried using a pry tool on the trim and it seriously didn't budge!

This was one of the links in my thread, for the door trim pieces you have to remove the door panels, the pieces screw in from the back. DIY: Interior Trim Removal - G35Driver And here's the link to remove the door panels, it has a few steps but it's pretty simple, just be sure you have some plastic pry tools, the cheapy Harbor Freight interior trim removal set works just fine. So....I ordered the trim and today...the order was cancelled. Apparently, these are no longer in stock anywhere because Infiniti discontinued them. I'm not 100% sure, but wrapping that piece in it's current condition (after removing the remaining fragments) should yield the same, smooth results, right?!??? I really didn't want to have to buy a whole used door panel

After countless searches, it seems that I can't get just the trim for the door. I've even tried trim kits, but can't confirm the quality. SO...I'm going to buy some brushed black aluminum vinyl and have a go at wrapping the interior trim pieces.

My only concern is getting the center pieces off, but I'll reference the factory service manual and see what I get.

Nothing else really going on. It's the winter...bought some tires...blah blah blah...changed the oil and filter...blah blah blah.

Will be buying a few more JDM items soon and possibly, JUST POSSIBLY, posting up some rare items that aren't near and dear to my heart.

Yep...it's me. I've been dying to install everything, but I will be so pissed if I get even the smallest amount of winter crap on it. So, I'm going to wait until after the snow season passes and then put everything on.

So I know I said I wouldn't buy anything else right now, but...I lied. Pics coming soon. Apparently, my interior is getting a makeover...which was the last thing on my to-do list
