BiiGGa's G NYC

(5th Attempt) Yes, its really took me 5 tries to get this right

So ive been lurking around for a while getting tons of useful info so I guess ill play along and contribute.. probably gonna be boring to you guys seeing that im years late but hey it is what it is.

It all started back in August.. my wifes Nissan went into the shop for some body work, leaving us with only 1 vehicle, MY car. Now not that I mind her using the car or anything but sometimes I jus wished I wasn't home ridden and immobile while she was out cruising around in my baby

I began to search for DD to kill a few birds with one stone: 1) I wont be stranded should anything happen to one of the vehicles again 2) I can park the MB during the week and accumulate less miles 3) If I get the right car I can now have a sunday hobby!

I happened to find and fall in love with a grey 08g35 MT coupe. Until I drove it and found out that 3rd gear was gone and it was in desperate need of a new clutch. Then oneday at work as im sitting in my office working ever so diligently (lol) an ad pops up from cars.com (or whatever site it was) advertising an 11 g37xS Sedan for roughly $13k.

So I call up the wife and after work me and my lady heads down to the Ramsey Volvo dealership where the car was located. After an extensive 90min test drive (car has 80kmi I wanted to test every gear and scenario) I decided that she was coming home with me

(lol I even bought some plates with me)

First night home:

First thing I did the next day was take her down to a local mechanic shop and have her really looked at under a microscope just to be extra careful. only findings were that I needed new bushings. not so bad replaced them for $350 parts and labor.

Then off to the good ole Hand Wash so I can see how pretty she really is.. I should've went a lil earlier there would've been more light but oh well..
image8_zpsffdhqau3.jpg?1479223353117&1479223354381&1479223363301&1479223364118

I have a few slight mods on already nothing too major.. my goal is to have her spring 17 ready with atleast tint rims exhaust suspension... And I have just successfully killed 2hours at my desk.. only 6more to go lol

PSA: im not really into pictures and stuff so my photography skills are as simple as point and shoot. don't kill me guys..

ONEighty

First mod was a "pano" roof wrap and black side mirrors from 180..
180 does top notch work btw.. super dope n clean.

Before:

After:

Tints are a custom shade I guess.. 35% is too light for me and 20% is gonna get me harassed so I got 35% with 50%. so idk whats the math on that but I have two layers of tint on leaving me somewhere in between 20% - 35%. I just like to call it 27%tints lol

Heading back to ONEighty sometime this week to finish window trim and take off that horrible PD on the front grill and switch to vinyl.
*edit*
Got the grill wrapped and gen3 intakes installed:

Bummer, can't see all that you've done as your pics aren't showing up. If you can load them on Photo and image hosting, free photo galleries, photo editing then paste back here that will work. Sounds like you're off to a good start w/ some solid plans ahead.

Thanks 4door. Got a few more mods on her but u know that good ol saying "pics or it didn't happen" gonna snap a few probably this weekend. Malbec isn't so bad. I personally only buy black cars, this was my first silver. Next spring think im gonna sell the e550 and get a white CLS, the silver popped my light color cherry. Im dying to do white w/ black accents now.

I checked out your thread also, coming along very nicely.. good luck trying to get that mazda rwhp

Malbec Black is a very soft paint that scratches ridiculously easy. After having my White Mazda and going back to Black (had a black truck prior) I realize that light colors are just much easier to match wheels with and care for in general. I went to my infiniti dealer to buy a white g37s sedan but the interior was trashed so I got my current one which had a like new interior.

Thanks bro.. Honeslty after takin a peak at them wrapping it, unless your pretty handy and ocd, I wouldnt recommend doing it yourself. Its a tedious job and the little details like the antenna are a PITA IMO..I honestly still love the job to this day..not one eff up anywhere.. ONEighty work is incomparable.. you wont regret it
