After a few days the Lazer Shades have arrived and I must say thanks again for the info on these. These are awesome and just what I needed for my sedan. I may never remove the one for the rear window and after the hot summer we have had I am looking into some heat reducing film for the windshield.

Nice, I'm glad I could help. I'm pretty happy with them as well.

Haven't updated in a while, but I've added a few things to make it look and drive better.

1. I added spacers front and rear to flush out the wheels. I have vert offset wheels, so they're 19x8.5 et43 up front, and 19x9 et30 in the rear. As such, I got 15mm spacers up front and 5mm in the rear.
I actually got 20mm up front first, but they just stuck out too much, and it looked too pokey. The rear need just that little bit to flush it out.
I got the DRS spacers, so I did have to change out the studs to longer ones. I feel more comfortable with this than with this than the bolt on kind. I used a stud puller tool, but I'm not terribly happy with it after 2 uses... it's starting to come apart. It did get the job done, though.

2. Eibach sway bars, front and rear. I had a pretty poor experience on a cloverleaf onramp, with the car just pushing and pushing. I decided I needed to do something about the handling. After much research and discussion with others, I went with Eibach. Eibach was a good choice because of their adjustability front and rear, and having a stiffer rear sway than some of the other options. I have it set full soft in the front, and full stiff in the rear. The car handles much better now, in my opinion, and is easier to control during cornering.

3. I went through a few options of bulbs for the fogs (LED, HID, and halogen) and settled with a set of NOKYA Hyper Yellow 2500k halogen bulbs. They check all the boxes; good price, good fit, great color and brightness. I just installed today, so I have not seen them at night yet, but in my dark garage they look exactly what I was looking for.

I'm working on a custom phone mount, utilizing a Proclip, some rare earth magnets and Ram components, including an X-Grip. It will give me a great amount of adjustability, and look classy enough to leave part of the mount installed 24/7. More info to come when I finish the project.

I also just purchased a set of the 10 spoke coupe wheels to swap out my 15 spoke wheels with. They are in decent shape, but will need some refurbishing. I am planning on powdercoating them, so it's off to the Prismatic Powders catalog to pore over colors! I think I'm going to keep it simple and go with a nice silver, but we'll see.

I don't have any recent pics, but as soon as I get the car looking nice (no time lately), I'll go take some shots.

Also, I've been doing a lot of research on 4.08 gears recently, and I think that's going to be my next mod. Sounds like it really wakes up the car, and there's a great shop locally that does the mod.
Just need to get some wheels sold, and super acceleration, here I come!
(Does anyone want to buy some 911 widebody fitment wheels???)

That's in line for my next mod, too. Buying the gears, pinion & seals during xmas, and installed Spring 2016... knock on wood.

Don't forget to get poly rear diff bushings while at it. I'm planning on Whiteline.

Yeah, I think I'll be doing the Whiteline bushings as well.

Nice updates for sure, sounds like some nice future mods in the works too.
IMO if you're going to take the time & effort into powdercoating I think I'd try a unique shade, not crazy mind you, but there is some awesome colors available that can add some depth. That Getyourwheels thread is epic in that regard.

Thanks, and yeah... I've got a long road ahead of me!

I have been bouncing back & forth on the idea of color... and I'm sort of stuck.
- I don't want black, because it's a bit played out and you really never get to see any of the definition of the wheels. It all just blends together.
- I don't really think I can pull off any bold colors because the car isn't low enough (yet) and I think I'd really need to step up to 20s to have wheels as my statement piece.
- I REALLY don't like the gunmetal car + gunmetal wheels look, so that's out

What does that leave me?
White? I'm not that much of a masochist
Yellow? LOL...
And.... silver.
At least there are a lot of color choices within the "silver" category. I'll do what I did with my last wheel PC adventure, and order sample swatches of every color I find interesting.

All that being said, that getyourwheels thread is just EPIC. There are some absolutely lustworthy wheels in some amazing finishes in there.
