Shane's 2009 Non-Sport Coupe Build

Ive been mostly a lurker on here for the last year and a half and finally have decided to post up my build. I have to say thanks to all of the many contributors on this site as they have helped me very much in my various mod decisions. Also I want to give a shout out to Rob Medina at Elite Tinting out here in Jersey for always lending his knowledge, my brother Shak for always helping out with the build and my girlfriend for always being so supportive. I bought my G pre owned in June 2013, a 2009 moonlight white non sport coupe with nav and 39,000 miles. This is only my second car and being that I am only 20 years old this was my first "large" purchase and for that I am very proud. After a year and a half of ownership I can officially say I believe my modding bug has came to an end with the G. Since I work full time and am also a full time student I plan to keep the G for a few more years as I focus on completing my schooling. Hopefully somewhere along the way ill have some extra cash to buy a decent project car Let me know what you guys think!

Nice mod list. Love those wheels. Are you 7AT or 6MT?

Thanks Upscale, 7AT. Originally I was looking for a 6MT but with the terrible traffic i was hitting on my daily commute between work and school 7AT made more sense.

Looking good Shane, engine bay looks well taken care of and a nice overall clean look, Forgestars look proper too Any plans to lower, and might look into this taillight DIY, would flow well w/ the rest of your build IMO.

Thanks newt, I will def look into that DIY. Ive always been cautious with darkening my taillights due to the police in my area, although I really do like the way the slightly darkened tails flow with the white. As of right now no plans to lower. Always wanted coilovers and might consider in the future but for now any extra cash i have is gonna go to getting the car paid off. Hoping to be free of monthly car payments within the next year
