DPNx714's 2012 G37S 6MT Build Thread

Last month I finally got around to installing the rest of my suspension components. The Cusco front and rear sway bars with front power brace all went in.
My impressions on the Cusco sway bars are that they made a huge night and day difference in handling! My car feels very planted to the road with very little body roll.
With that said, I didn't do much research before buying the sway bars and picked them up to complete a Cusco suspension package at a great price from Frank at Modbargains, a vendor on the forums. I just knew any sets of sway bars would be an improvement over stock and it would be neat to have all matching Cusco blue suspension parts.
The sway bars are listed at 28mm (hollow) @ 124% stiffness over stock for the front , and 25mm (solid) @ 238% over stock non sport G37. These sway bars offer no adjustability, nor do they use poly bushings. I think this set also cost a bit more than Hotchkis, which gives you adjustability and poly bushings w/ new brackets etc. I can see why most on the forum go with Hotchkis.
Overall, I'm very happy with the Cusco sways and guess there is no need to worry about noise and/or greasing the bushings. I'll always wonder how much more stiff the car can get if I had Hotchkis...or some other set with adjustability.
I also replaced my clutch assist pedal spring after a year and half of owning the car. The spring from Jsolo made a pretty big difference in clutch feel! You can feel where it grabs and it no longer wants to kick your leg out at the friction point. The spring makes 1st and 2nd gear much more manageable and the car is less of a chore to drive. I might consider the RJM assembly one day but I'm happy with the softer assist spring for now!
I'll end this update with some rollers from couple of days ago!

Car's looking great, fantastic rolling shots
Nice to have a review on those Cuscos, sounds like you're very happy w/ the improved handling. Nice to have another viable option in sways, would be nice to have a side by side vs. Hotchkis &/or Eibach, in time I'm sure they'll turn up.
Keep up the great build!

Thanks man!
Future mods will most likely be something involving spoiler or duckbill trunk, and probably RHFC from Fast Intentions.
