Haven't been on the CTS/CTSV forums. I've come to the conclusion, and this isn't a personal stab, but all forums are an orgy of idiots. While there are great members they are slim within the forums. Just recently I joined a Glock Forum to find out some info and product development for the G42 and I already have removed it from my bookmarks. I'm sure I will join a V forum but a lot of my good friends are GM guys and I worked at a Vette shop. So I have a great personal local source for info.

CTS-V.. Can't say I wouldn't do the same thing given the opportunity. Judging by this thread, I believe it's safe to assume you're going to make one hell of an elegant monster out of the V. Best of luck with it man.

Got my fingers crossed for you man! I'm waiting to hear about your plans for a new pulley, intake, exhaust and a tune.. And of course some "kill stories".

Good luck w/ your search, looking forward to seeing how this goes
Those new CTS-V coupes w/ the side by side exhaust cannons are quite a sight (as is any of the new CTS-Vs).

I'm wanting a sedan or wagon with a 6sp. Not a fan of the coupes.

I hear that, Robert. For me, the CTS Coupe looks amazing from a distance, but the closer you get, the more awkward it appears. And soon as you actually sit inside the car all you want to do is get out of it. Ugh.

In that respect, exactly like the Camaro.

The Camaro was a flop to me. I had high hope but once I worked on and drove several pushed me away quickly. Now the V came to a surprise. Seriously it is not your grandfather's Caddy! Nice interior with the engine for the teenager in all of us.

Congrats on the new car. I have the short ram. Yes the Stillen long tubes are the best but I got a great deal on the RC2's from Import Part Pro I couldn't pass. I like them. A lot more engine noise now. LOL

2009, eh? I'm thinking you have a $40,000 ceiling on this project.
