Mechanic just confirmed wed morning drop-off for this project.

Figure I'll be doing this same dance this time next year, when I get the car dyno-tuned.

Aw crap. Mechanic is unavailable because of a funeral, poor guy. So we're rescheduled again. I've been planning on this for years... I suppose another week doesn't matter.

At this point I must be reading like a broken record.

Sorry to hear that. Your wait will make it all the more sweet once installed. Looking forward to hearing your sentiments on it.

hahaha (broken record part, not the funeral)....at least it bought you enough time to get an answer about the front bushings

Sucks that it's delayed again. Saw an interesting video about gears today and thought of this though.

Just reading like an enthusiast who is really excited for what should be a fun mod to their ride. I think you're in good company

Beginning to wonder why Fate is working against you. Maybe something is trying to tell you NOT to do it Rochester!

Nah. It's not fate.

The first problem was a packaging goof, and a reluctance on behalf of TheNismoShop to make it right. However, they did make it right, so that's done.

The second problem was gravity. My mechanic's friend died in a sky diving snafu. Freaking horrible way to go.

Wow, potential 2 day project?

I imagine the gears are the biggie. My diff bushings took 4 hours.

3rd schedule is the charm. I just dropped the car off at the mechanic, with a big box of parts.

OMG

We're all excited to see it when it's done!

I'll be doing the same at Z1 in 2 months

Have you looked at Z1 headers? They're not too pricey but they're even better value if you get them in a parts package/bundle deal.

Other than Z1 and DC I don't think I've seen another header kit put on, but that's just me. I've been toying with the idea myself but I don't want it to be TOO loud, it's already going to be borderline ear assault at WOT
