Stoptech BBK sizes are the same so I would say it is bigger than the OEM brakes so would have clearance issues for your winter setup.

Stoptech BBK sizes are the same as what? It might be worth your while to research this a bit to see if you can find a caliper profile for the Stoptechs to see if the calipers stick out more than the Akebonos.

Per Stoptech, "We offer a 4-piston 355x32mm option which has the same rotor size and piston count as the OE Sports option, however, there is no interchangeability between our kit and the OE parts. There is also a 6-piston 355x32mm kit and 6-piston 380x32mm kit."
