KNS Brakes - Service for your braking needs
I've got a few brake pad questions for you!
I have a track day coming up, the first of many, I hope. I understand that it's not always possible to have your cake and eat it too regarding brake pads. Currently I have Stoptech street performance pads, do you think that will work for a mild track weekend with plenty of time out of the car between runs?
What kind of pads do you recommend for a novice autocrosser/tracker?
I've heard hawk Hp plus are unbearably noisy off the track.

HP+ is exactly what I would recommend for someone going to the track for the first time, it has great bite and it's certainly great to us on street tires.
They are pretty noisy off track, I have quite a few new track go'er thats use the HP+ on track and then take them off after wards and put the StopTech pads on, or Hawk HPS pads on for street.
That is always my #1 recommendation, have a street set, and a track set.
