what i compared mine to a g37x(he had an oem cover) and he rubbed like crazy. Mine has an aftermarket cf cover so it is not as thick and does not rub at all and had a lot of clearance. hopefully i am not late on the issue. hope this helps.
To each our own then. IMO: I think it looks decent, it's firewall reinforced, functional as it provides further chassis stiffening, and the molded engine cover allows aftermarket manufacturers greater versaility with products.
Better than our current situation of either having an option of scratched up strut/engine cover or no strut bar at all.
