Anyone here swapped to an iBooster?

I've been toying with the idea of swapping my vacuum booster with an ibooster like the ones from a Tesla Model S https://calimotive.com/products/tesl...owqnIDVhB8koGH

Has anyone here tried doing this? In theory, it's plug-and-play with the limitations being the unit's physical size, the mounting studs' orientation, and the pedal fork's length. looking at pictures of the unit it seems like one of these should bolt right up. The good news is that this is one of those parts that auto manufacturers have to design around. Not about to spend $300+ on that assumption though. Since our cars have the booster surrounded by a sheet metal wall I'm concerned that could also pose an issue with trying to fit one of these.

Why? Are you FI and worried about a lack of vacuum under load?
is there a weight savings?
Or other benefit im not thinking of?
And how would this "i" thing interact with the traction control system?

Honestly, I'm just looking for things to do to the car. At this point, the car has become a shop queen and I don't mind letting it sit on the lift for another month to say 'I did this.'

The majority of the swaps I've seen are 'plug-n-play.' All the necessary sensors and controllers are built-in, so all you would have to do is send it 12V.

The module does have the ability to fetch CAN data (which I know nothing about yet) so you could add features such as brake hold, increase/decrease the amount of assist, brake torque vectoring(?).

AFAIK the stock booster does not have any sensors measuring braking force, pedal position, etc so if there ends up being an issue with the TCS/ABS it's likely to come from the displacement volume of the Tesla master cylinder.
