How to Enable the G37 Tire Pressure Menu!
So apparently I just wasted time & money waiting on delivery of an A-to-A cable, which literally just arrived a few minutes ago.
Probably should update your original post. Oh, and you owe me $2.70 USD.

Dammit, Frank. Why didn't I think of that? I've got a handful of those cables!

I was asked this question in a YouTube comment this morning. I tested it on my Mac Studio and it worked.
In the video I used my 8 year old Mac Pro... so USB C never came to mind.
Oh... the cheque is in the mail. I sent it to: Rochester, Rochester NY
(original post has been updated as well as YT video description)
Instead of Putty, go to the app store and search for "SerialTools". It is a free program and works just like putty.
Just select the only non-Bluetooth serial port, set the speed to 9600 and make sure RTS and DTR are checked off and click on connect.
Let me know how you make out.

After quirks and options get figured out, and a number of members here pursue this mod where there's a consensus of evidence that it's solid, we should absolutely stickey this thread. I've already stickied it in my head that the TPMS pattern is 1) driver-front, 2) passenger-front, 3) passenger-rear, 4)driver-rear.
LOL, what?
@Rochester "Let mew know how you it goes."
Wow... I really messed that up.... should be "Let me know how it goes"

Hi all!
I absolutely love this possibility as I am kind of a nerd when it comes to tires so the more info, the better. As soon as I saw the video I got right to it.
unfortunately, I ran into an issue when I connect the usb into the center console. It goes from reading USB memory to unplayable file almost immediately. I tried a 16 gig stick first and then switched to a 4 gig, same problem with either.
any idea what I’m doing wrong? 2010 g37s sedan, anniversary edition, 7at.

I'm in the same boat; I don't have a windows laptop. I just need to find a USB-C to USB-A cable.

The steps Rochester mentioned, should fix the problem.
Another option is a free app "SerialTools" in the app store.
I've used it for years and it works great!
