Work Meister S2R over Akebonos

Hey all, long time lurker, but first post over here. I’ve tried searching for this info on here, as well as 370z forums. The only info I’ve found is a very neat, printable jig to check clearance. However I do not have the wheels in hand.

They are 18X8 +51, fronts, 18X9 +63, rears. I know there’s really way to know for sure, I’m just hoping that someone has had them on their G/Z and know that they clear. Thanks for any information!

So you need to find out what the face disk style is. That will determine if it will clear the Akebono.

Hey Panda, thanks for the response. Forgive my ignorance or naïveté, but I think the response may have went right over my head.

I’m going to be going to look at them in person tomorrow, is there anyway I can learn the face disc style while looking at them? Or is it something I’ll need to research? Thanks again for the help my man.

We're all here to learn.

Some Work wheels have the face/disk information stmaped on the barrel, others will have it as part of the sticker. Not sure if it would be on the face, but I would naturally think its where it should be.

The S2R are 2 piece welded I believe so it could be on the barrel.

Your other option would be the print out the caliper template, cut it out, and bring it with you to test the clearance.

With Akebonos you're most likely going to want R disc only unless you're willing to run spacers to clear the wheel face.
