Hi all I have an 09 X Sedan. Stock wheel/tire setup is 225/55 17 +45. I'm going to be running a square setup. My wheels are 19x8.5 +35. I've used the calculators online and checked some fitment threads, but hoping for someones extra input.

I know the correct size would be 245/40 19, but I am trying to get a pretty tight fit, minimal wheel gap, fenders sitting just above or at the lip of the wheel. Would I be able to do this with 245/35 without rubbing? The previous owner rolled the fenders. The wheels are the Voxx Masi and I will be running KSport coilovers.

You don't fix wheel gap with bigger tires. You fix wheel gap with suspension lowering. Run the proper size tires.

 

Thank you, but the 35s are smaller than the 40s, i figured that the smaller sidewall would help to get the tucked look.

 

I misread that part, but a smaller sidewall would make the gap bigger.

 

I'll be lowering on KSports (2.5inches I think). The problem is getting the tires that will let the fender sit tucked. Just below or at the fender. 225/40 is what i've ordered. do you think that'll workout? spacers maybe
