Just want some advice/votes on rim aesthetics for my 09' Vibrant Red G37x.
After months of reading about tires, offsets, fitment, etc... I've decided to run a squared setup. 19x9.5 +35

Rim 1: ESR RF2 - $1299, Rotary Forged (lighter, stronger), Matte Black

Rim 2: ESR SR08 - $929, Gloss Black (Poverty version of WORK Emotion Kiwamis aka I don't want to spend $2000)

Going with black on account of the rest of the dark features on my car (plastidip, CF, etc).

Let me know what you guys think as far as color and aesthetics.

RF2, but since you have a red g37 i would do in hyper black, it will pop more. Never been a big fan of black rims since you can't see the details as much.

 

To be honest neither have I... I will definitely look into hyper black. Thanks for the suggestion.

 

I think the tapered design of the spokes in the more expensive RF2 look better than the other one. The SR08 design looks like my spare in the trunk. I'm not kidding, google it.

And I agree with Said Amir... not a fan of black, but I prefer the gloss black over matte.

Tbh, if I could, I'd run Gunmetal/Graphite and be a happy camper.

 

This guy here is selling his 19" Vossens in high-gloss graphite, with a fair price including full-tread tires. Say what you want about Vossens good or bad, they sure do have an amazing painted finish. Not trying to push my own wheels, that's seriously a coincidence. Just agreeing with your liking of gunmetal finishes, and I remembered his recent thread.

And yet, what's really frustrating here are his pictures. The wheels & tires are completely filthy. Makes no sense why he'd use those pictures in his FS thread. Really odd. You can easily google better examples.
