Getting a headache from trying to figure this all out because I honestly don’t know too much about cars or fitment

i have an 08 sport coupe [19” oem wheels]

i just ordered some staggered 19” wheels

vendor told me I need spacers to clear the brakes

i want to know
1. exactly what size spacers I should get for front and rear
[ to make them flush, I am at stock height and plan to drop my car only about an inch or so ]
2. What brand / where to get them
3. What size / brand studs / lugnuts I need to get and where from
4. Bolt on vs slip on spacers?? Which ones? (Obviously I don’t know much)

i know im asking a lot but I’m really lost with all this
i realize spacers are preference but I’d just like to know what will look flush and make my wheels fit. I’m not too worried about it being perfect, so far I’ve decided on 15mm rear and 20mm front
is that good for a 19x8.5 wheel front and 19x10 wheel rear?

That wheel link doesn't list a specific offset, to get an accurate fit you really need to know what offsets those wheels have.

 

Apparently the vendor chooses an offset based on your vehicle, so I’m assuming they’re giving me a high offset to fit the brake caliper better? I’m not quite sure

 

Wait until they arrive and check fitment yourself.

Google that wheel elsewhere to get offset size. Ditto hub bore.

You can run a 10mm slip on spacer up front, 15-20mm slip on (stacked) or bolt on spacers in the rear, depending on tire sizes

You'll need extended studs for slip on spacers.

 

Regarding 20mm spacers bolt on type only if those wheels will allow it. Depending on if the wheels have a flat back mounting surface or not. If flat, you'll need to stack slip on spacers.

 

Do you know how extended my studs will need to be And do I need different size ones for the front and back since the spacers will be different sizes?
Also are spacers something I can just jack my car up take off the wheels and throw them on or should I get it done professionally? Thanks for all the help

 

oh man.

The length of studs depends on the thickness of spacers you plan on using.

I have FOUR 5mm spacers I can sell you for say...$25.00.

Then you can play with them. Stack them to see how much you need/want.

THen when you decide how thick you want/need to go, then buy extended studs. Not hard to install them yourself.

What size tires are you going with?

wheel vendor talked to wheel company and they said there’s no PCD pockets (aka can’t just mount the bolt-on spacers) , this mean I’ll have to end up doing slip on spacers for both F and R right?

Yeah I’ll wait til I get the wheels, should be sometime within the next two weeks so no rush , it’s odd because On carID , the same rims in the same L/W come up as guaranteed fit for the 08 sport coupe , either the vendor I bought from is wrong or carID is, chances are it’s carID but there’s a slim chance the wheels could fit without spacers at all, thanks for the stud link that may save me some cash, have a recommendation website for the spacers as well?
