Help wheel shaking at speeds above 60mph
#17
so brought the car to the mechanic and he couldn't find anything wrong. He said everything seemed tight. He said it could be a bent rim or something. one of my friends said maybe my spacer was bent but I don't think that would attribute to the shaking right?

I'd check to be sure all your wheels have the hubcentric adapter rings, you mentioned the wheels have been on & off quite a bit. Possible that one of the rings fell out and was never replaced, or you didn't sound certain that you had them to begin with. Without the rings the chance of high speed vibration is very common, I would verify that you have them (and none are cracked or damaged) if they are be sure to get aluminum ones, much better than the plastic ones that come w/ some wheels.
