2013 Sport Sedan Steering Whine
that's correct. We are trying to determine if the sound you are hearing gets louder at full lock or if it is a sound separate from the ps pump.
You can diagnose the belt and tensioner pretty easily. First, if you have 75k and thats the original belt, it probably needs replacing. Whats the condition of the ribs? Any cracking? Is the noise you hear a chirp (repetative squeak) or a squeal?
If it's whining it could be the pump on its way out.
A little trick that may help you rule out the belt is to pour water over the belt with the car running. If the noise stops than it's the belt.
I would recommend changing the belt anyways. I checked my belt about once a month and my belt broke on me randomly while driving home from work. I had 52k miles at the time. Replaced it myself with a new Gates belt for $30.
Bearings make a distinctive sound when they are going out.

Following this thread for the same problem with my 2013 G37S 6mt. Problem seems apparent only after driving in cold weather for 20 mins. or more, and is very noticeable at low speed when turning the wheel when parking. It is a constant whine that gets louder with bigger steering inputs. Had it to the dealer last winter, and they could not duplicate the noise. Took the car in 4 weeks ago, on a cold day, and the service manager could now hear the noise. Waiting to hear back from Infiniticustomer service since I took the car in while under warranty for the same problem, but is now out of warranty and was hoping diagnosis and repair would be covered. Their initial response over the phone was no. Currently at 51K miles.
I thought power train was 60k miles? Besides, you brought it in when it was. Screw them if they couldn't duplicate it, the problem was brought to their attention then so they better take care of it. Don't back down. It's only your loss if you do.
I'l share my whine. 2013 g37 IPL 36k. whining. Checked PS looked a tad low not a lot. I had no idea these cars had speed adaptive PS as I never felt it. Went to dealer because when I was swapping my sway bars I notice PS fluid. They said I had a leaky hose and replace two hoses. Fast forward 7k miles the whine is gone and speed sensing PS is back but the leak is still there. Its miniscule but I have to keep eyes on it so it doesn't deplete the reservoir. My queston is could the o ring be letting air in creating too much pressure and causing the leak? Will this pressure damage the rack?

I notice it says for 2012 models, but your symptoms describe the exact same issue I was having. Sounds like a supercharger whine.
