Stance SuperSport Coilovers Spring Rates?
I'll be purchasing some Stance SuperSport true-type coilovers for my G37x Sedan in the near future along with the Swift spring upgrade. I'm not sure what spring rates I should go with.
My car is a daily driver, but I hit up back roads all the time. I'm looking for a balance with ride comfort and performance. Thanks for the help!

I had bc with swifts and they were oem type 12k fr and 10k rear.
with true rear id do 8k and 12k front.
the damping let's you firm up ride without it being bone jarring and the 12k 8k allows a smooth conformed ride.
I had stance on my Z with oe rates and they were fine I believe 12 and 8 not sure

bc feels cheap the materials are cheap etc. stance materials are sturdier and better made feel when in your hands. I'm now running isc coilovers and they are oem type and on par with stance but cheaper and oem type check em out made in USA and serviceable here too
If you're dead set on going with one of the Korean/Taiwan dampers, check to see what it costs to rebuild them per damper first and then look at the purchase cost. I'd stick with the 12/10 OEM rears or 12/8 true type. It'll make quite a big difference in handling/body roll. I'd probably take a look at Fortune and Stance as others have mentioned.
If you find a set of used KWv3's, take a hard look at those too if the price is good. They don't come with top mounts and you have to remove the rears to adjust compression. Makes them less convenient but they're double adjustables and have progressive rate springs (better ride).

Well Fortunes and Stance can both be had as double adjustable or single adjustable (rebound only, no compression). And yes, you can get really, really lost with setting up a double adjustable damper. The main parts are both from the same factory and I thinK Fortune was claiming to make their own pistons/shim stacks but I can't remember for sure.
Might want to check these out:

Stance makes all of their shocks available as double adjustables. They even have triples available with high and low speed compression in addition to rebound. The only difference between the X and non-X shocks is the lower shock bracket. Same damper otherwise with possibly a shorter shock case.

Yeah just call. Should be up on their site too. I've called them before and they are pretty responsive. You can really go down the rabbit hole with double adjustables so make sure you have a good experienced shop to do the final corner sighting and setup. Too bad none of the JDM companies make shocks for the X. Being in Japan, you could have gotten your hands on some Aragostas or other high end shock.
