New stance coilover true installed now has a slight noise

Here is a video I took earlier today. New stance coilover installed like 3 weeks ago and finally I notice a noise like something loose or rattling when I'm driving. I checked all the bolts and nuts all tight. What can it be?

Spring movement under full suspension droop? Did you set the preload on all four shocks? Is it a true-type or OEM spring location in the rear?

No I installed it out of the box. Thought preload was set already that why. It is a true type and the noise is coming from the front driver side only.

Well that could be part of the reason you're hearing a clunk. Is it even on both sides? Same height? I would personally raise that ride height quite a bit. You could be hitting suspension components. If that isn't it, check the torque on the lower shock mounting bolt. If not torqued properly under tension, it can make noise.

Okay. How do I do the preload though while its on the car already? Sorry first time doing this. I will check the the torque on the bolts tomorrow. I will raise it up so I can have more clearance too. It's not really a clunking noise though. It's sound like the springs are like moving or something lol.

Preload basically means having no load on the shock/spring then adding about a 1/4" of compression. The exact amount of preload should be noted somewhere on the companies website or instruction sheet, but a 1/4" should suffice. You'll have to safely lift the vehicle and unload each shock. And yeah, I'd try to get it around zero fender gap, probably about 3/4" higher than you are now. This will make your daily drives much less stressful, and your undercarriage will thank you

Hey can I adjust the preload with the coilover still on the car? Or do I have to take it off

You can do it while it's on the car. Get a ruler and measure and make sure the two fronts are identical and the two rears are identical to one and other. Honestly, you can jack the car up, let the wheels droop. If you can spin the spring easily by hand, you don't have enough preload. If you can barely rotate the spring with a good deal of effort, you're good. Do the same for the other side and just measure to make sure one isn't completely out of whack. Your springs will "settle" over time as well meaning you should check again in about a month.

Okay. Yesterday I jacked up my driver side and checked the springs and I can spin it easily By turning it with little effort.

I'll do it again tomorrow..
Ima raise up my car too so it can have more clearance and get another alignment. Luckily I get free alignments

Done

Hey guys, just raised my car up a good bit and now the noise is gone. I didn't even touch the preload because I wanted to raise it first and take it for a spin and no more noise. Here how it sit now.
I'll leave as is and see after a couple of days before I go get it aligned again to be sure the noise is gone.

Should be a lot more fun to drive now, and if that spring does spin freely when unloaded you will need to get that handled. G is looking nice at that height too!

OK the noise didn't go away. It's still there..
What do you guys think? I talked to stance and they say should be able to spin the spring with some effort and I can do that so he say he doesn't think it's a preload problem. He also told. E to check my top hat and the 17mm nut on the top hat make sure it's tight and I did it,still no good!

He say it can be the sway bar end links. Cause I did had a lot of tension on the sway when I was installing coilover on one side and I kept trying to take off the lower bolt by hitting it with a hammer many times not knowing that the tension was still there so I had to remove the other end link on the opposite side so the load tension is off. But that's after kept trying to hit it out many times so I might have damage an endlink and causing noises. But this noise is when I'm going straight on and not turning also so help me out :X

If you were having to hammer out your end links w/ continual beatings then yes, that could surely be a source for those sounds, even going straight as they will move under compression regardless if you're turning. The end links are one of the first things you remove when replacing the shocks, not removing them, then having them binding up when trying to R&R your shocks could damage them (even before you were pounding them w/ your hammer).
