Firestone could not align the front

I scheduled an appointment today for an alignment as its been 2 weeks since I had the coils installed. I opted for the lifetime alignment. I showed the manager my car and clearly told him I was lowered and he said no problem. When I picked it up all they did was align the rear. They said they couldn't reach the bolt on the spc upper arm. So they wanted to charge me 60 instead if 169. Well let's just say I didn't pay anything. Now where do I got to get the front aligned?

Just have to call some shops and let them know how you're set up. Or post a thread "Anyone know a good alignment shop in NJ?"
Sounds like the shop just didn't want to make the effort.
And if you have the full SPC rear kit they should be able to get easily in spec back there too

Only the front and rear camber is OFF

You can kinda eyeball the rear camber adjusting it yourself if you have rear camber arms. But putting it closer to -1 might not allow to adjust the toe correctly after so make sure you have rear toe bolts.

Good luck adjusting the front SPC arms, you will not be able to adjust the arm unless your fender is off (unrealistic) OR you disconnect the sway bar end link and lower strut bolt, dropping the suspension several times to get at the correct degree

There has to be a way. I'm gonna look into some performance shops in the area. I can live with the rear but the front have to much negative camber for me.

I'm not exactly familier with the spc adjustments up front but in the older days I used to take a large ruler and tape it to the brake rotor with the wheel off and then adjust the arms by measuring distance from the ruler to the fender. Not exactly perfection but it got the alignment pretty damn close to what I wanted.

The ruler was taped vertical on the rotor surface with the wheel removed. It was a yard stick that I cut down to 2 feet in length. The ruler was taped to the rotor and reached up to just before touching the fender area. I figured out how much I needed to pull the top of the wheel out then measured from the top of the ruler to the fender until it was that much closer. I am hoping this is useful for your situation and that it is written clear enough.

Like blnewt said, the shop didn't make any effort to do the front. The -3° range will kill your tires so get it fixed asap. I would go back to the shop and bargain since you have disclosed you have aftermarket parts and the manager said no problem. If they are incompetent then they shouldn't have taken your car in.

The SPCs aren't that hard to adjust, just need to remove the wheel and have the proper wrench. The shop that did mine 4+ years ago took a couple hours for a 4 wheel alignment but the mechanic said it was no problem, and They've been solid at just under -1.0 in front for 50k miles now.

There's hundreds of members around here and G35driver that have SPC front arms, if they were that hard to adjust they wouldn't be as popular (IMO)

I wouldn't trust Kinetics, the arms themselves seem to be fine, but that ball joint has been problematic, but maybe that's been addressed ???

The bolt holding the ball joint was backing out. Kinetics changed from Lock-Tite Blue to Lock-Tite Red and things seem under control.
