Help with setup on G37 Sport 2008

New to forum. Looking to upgrade stock rims/tires on 2008 G37 Sport w/ BBK to 245/40/19 on a 19x9 +20 and 275/35/19 on a 19x10.5 +25 set of Velgen VMB5s. I'm currently at stock as far as lowering is concerned. Will this stance work w/ out lowering or modding fender or camber kit? Thank you for any advice you can give me.

Wheels will poke outside the fender but will tuck ok w/ some camber as you go lower. With that setup it will look a bit odd until it's lowered IMO.
Also I assume you have a coupe, if you have a sedan the wheels will poke even further by about 10-15mm.

Why not add an exhaust w/ hfc to actually add some power to the car instead of adding weight?

You leave, you have a zero trader score, I have contributed to the vendors more in 2 months than you have in 2 years...

Plus my comment was not a negative it was a sarcastic fact. Honestly, I just purchased some spacers and springs and I am waiting for the delivery ....

Yes blnewt it's the coupe. Do you have a recommended stance if not planning on lowering the car? Also, which do you think will look better on blue slate g37, Gunmetal Velgen VMB5s or Vossen CV3s? Thanks for the welcome!

Not sure on the offset range available for those but 19s look better than 20s at stock height
For that price range I'd give a look at the Work Emotion line, Japan sourced wheels w/ some nice concavity and lighter weight
Evasive Motorsports | PH: 626.336.3400 Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm PST: Emotion
The T7R and CR Kiwami are great looking wheels available in some nice offsets and several different finishes.
An example~
19x9.5 +25 on a 245/40/19 front
Evasive Motorsports | PH: 626.336.3400 Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm PST: Work Kiwami Wheel - 19x9.5 / 5x114.3 / Offset +25 (Deep Concave Face)
19x10.5 +32 on 275/35 tires rear
Evasive Motorsports | PH: 626.336.3400 Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm PST: Work Kiwami Wheel - 19x10.5 / 5x114.3 / Offset +32 (Ultra Deep Concave)
If it were me I'd go with those Work sets, they are drop dead sweet!

OH yeah, I really like those Work CR Kiwami rims. I wonder how the bronze would look on Blue Slate? Will they fit over the BBKs?

Bronze on the blue would be killer!
I support that decision, check the disc type before purchase to make sure they clear the BBK...remember, offset does not determine brake clearance.

Most of the Work wheels do have 2 to 3 different disc choices, but the Kiwami one piece just has spoke faces based on the wheel width.
I'd contact sales@workwheelsusa.com for specific clearance issues. Ryne has those T7Rs in the same front size and clears the BBK, should be a very similar fit on the Kiwamis.
Here's specific detail sheet on the Kiwami and you click the pdf download for wheel specs

No problem, there's a few other vendors that sell them too, RavSpec is one and shoot a PM to Ryne for the place he got his, he was very happy w/ his deal.
