Powder Coating Wheels near Chicago

Can anyone suggest a place? I've reached out to a few with zero response back. Is powder coating wheels a dying business?

I wouldn't say it's a dying business, surprised you didn't get responses! Did you try searching on Yelp? Also, I'd recommend giving these businesses calls - there is a chance they're on the old-school side and more easily reached when the phone rings.

I'd also recommend to try posting this in the regional section if you haven't already - they may be a little more helpful due to the specifics.

By the way, what color you going with?

Thanks. I did finally get in touch with them. $160 per wheel seems too high.

Good advice. I would like something to match the color of the IPL wheel. Something like a very, very light gunmetal color.

I'm honestly considering painting these on my own. I bought the rims used for without any tires. Having no tires to deal with is a plus. I think it just comes down to excellent prep work if I decide to paint. I also know that I can get the exact color I desire if I do the work. I've seen a few stories with powder coating colors that did not match the buyer's expectations.
