Came across an insane deal that i couldn't pass so I picked up these wheels today.
They have dunlop run flats almost new. I got these from a professional motor sports shop. The seller is a very knowledgeable guy and he got me in touch with concavo wheels' owner who will have my rear gtr wheel's bore sheet measured? I guess? And cut it to add offset. (first time hearing this)
They will use the machine/ tools that are used to manufacture concavo wheels. Like this, they may be able to add 8/10mm or im not fully sure. Point is, should i be okay after shaving some metal off? Wheels are made for higher power / torque gtr, i should be okay right? Say he shaves half of the metal.
2ndly, any ideas if i should be able to use same oem dunlop wheels in front or if possible same rears?
I also have hankook evo 285 30s that i can get.
Suggestions before i take a step? Lets discuss
It sounds like you already have confirmation from someone that's an industry professional, I doubt you'd get better advice from anyone here, unless they too run a wheel manufacturing facility
I would be concerned about milling too much more though, there doesn't seem to be a lot of space until you get to the lug nut seats. I don't know what the minimum seat thickness has to be but doesn't seem to be a lot of metal available there.
If you get that rear offset to a +33 you should be able to sneak 285s back there if you have a coupe and don't mind a bit of camber.
I have a sedan and i do mind camber if it's more than 2.5.
at this time, I am debating if will be happy after putting these in my sedan because I need a practical daily driving car.
If i will have to spend another 300-400$ to put them in then i will pass lol. Machining the wheels is not expensive but the dude who i bought these wheels from said he will charge me around 400-500$ to do some inner wheel well fender / liner work and give me minimum camber possible. I am not sure if i even need that after i gain say +8 offset, its all theoretical.
on the other side, I haven't tested it yet, should i be able to put GT-R oem front tires as is? they are 255 40. I can increase the height but how much :/
If its too much work, I will just resale them here / craigslist / facebook.
Can it be done? Yes. But, I wouldn't do it. The wheel fitment will not look good because the front is a lot more conservative than the rear. You will need spacers in the front and you will need to stretch, add negative camber, and/or pull for the rear fenders.
There's some good pics of Rickys' GTR all front set on his Sedan. Main Shoby, maybe you can trade your rears for a pair of fronts, someone running hellaflush might be interested. https://www.myg37.com/forums/g-s-fs/...-sedan-le.html
yes, but no one has premium wheels :/
I see other kind everywhere... I will try to put my old tires on these and see what happens. if its doable and i can benefit from minor offset gain, then i will do it.
hoping for a successful weekend!
They dont fit well unless I do heavy camber, which is not my taste.
I will have to post these in marketplace. what must be a good selling price for these?

That car is I checked on tire pricing and those 255/35/20's are cheaper than most comparable 19's. Makes the wheels in my head turn...
