Lowered on swift with SPL rear camber arms / 15 mm spacers.
The shop is having trouble aligning the rear left. If they bring the camber in spec the toe goes out. if they bring the toe in spec the camber goes out.
Any thoughts on what may be causing it?
I guess it could be an OEM suspension part which should technically be covered under the warranty. The are inspecting everything but I am not sure where to go from here aside from having them put the rear back to stock to see what happens.
you need to elongate the slot where the toe bolt goes in so you have more room for adjustment. There should have been a template to use as a guideline when doing the cutting. I know when I bought the SPC camber kit it came with it.

This^^ and you only need to cut to the inside of the slot, cutting to the outside will only move the bolt in the wrong direction for in spec toe.
This of course assumes you didn't already know this
ok.. so its at the dealership ATM (they give me non stealership rate) but I don't know if they would do this or not.. Does is need to be done with a dremel?
I am not sure if there was a template that came with the SPL camber kit or not. I should have looked.
When you say cut to the inside of the slot- looking from the rear left that's to the right correct?

Yes with a dremel. You have to cut all the excess metal front and back on each side

So basically the issue is if
you put the left toe in,
and put the left toe out,
and put the left toe in and then shake it all about....
Sorry to resurrect, but does anyone know where I can find a template for the cutting of the bolts? I had no idea that was a thing when I had my SPC kit installed and I don't know if it came with one. I had some bad alignment issues and it ate up two of my tires before I got a second alignment, and now the car feels sluggish leading me to believe it might be out of alignment again. Would like to go in armed with the template next time.
I have the bolts. Just don't remember there being a template in the box. I'll just have to ask the shop and hope they remember.
Found some instructions and a tempalte on a G35 forum. I'm assuming it's the same procedure. When I bring my car on I'll explain and leave them with the techs.
