Tanabe pro soc and pro comfortr

Hey guys so I had question about these tanabe coils.

I've seen the regular tanabe pro soc coilovers that lotta ppl have, but now I've been seeing these tanabe pro soc comfort-R coils.
Question is, are these the same? Just the newer updated version of old regular pro soc? Or are they different set? I've looked all over but can't find much info about it.

It seems comfort r shocks are made by KYB. Not sure bout regular sustec pro soc.
I think it may just be the new updated version of the old system w improved shocks struts by KYB !!!
I was thinking of gettin the old kit already, now this has me really intrigued. Anyone shed any light on this or have any experience with the comfort-R kit?
Here is link to them for sale at czp.

TBH not sure if it's just been replaced
I'd check Tanabes website and if that doesn't help give Tanabe USA a call, they should be able to help, seems like they have a few new coilovers as of late

Apparently the comfort R is a new coilover system for the G. Not sure how it compares to the standard soc. It seems like it may be focused more on comfort and daily driving while still improving performance. I do like that it comes with KYB shocks.

I wish someone had them on car already so we could hear a review. Lol I don't wanna be the guniea pig, I can't afford buy coils and not like Em haha.

I may just have to go with the standard tried n true pro soc sustec.

Seems odd on their spec listing for the both coilovers for the G37s that the max rear drop on the coupe is only 1.5" but the sedan it's 2.4" w/ the same part #s
And the front drops 1/2" more on the coupe than the sedan
It would be nice to get some feedback on those Comfort R sets, but someone's got to be the first (c'mon man )
Might even look at these new Teins, for $540 hard to beat

Did you end up getting the comfort or sustec system? I'm curious cause I just purchased the comfort and I'm lowkey nervous lol

I have them for my coupe they're okay. The adjustments don't allow you to go to low and it's a very bouncy ride. Theres no way to adjust dampening. It's a very comfortable ride tho if you hit a slught dip at 40 mph you might scrape/slam the under carriage I've done it a few times. So these are low n slow coils. All n all I give these coils an 8/10 rating and I'm actually looking for something different so I'm selling lol

So you have the Tanabe comfort R, nice to have some feedback on them. Do you have aftermarket sway bars? If not, that might be a good purchase to firm up your overall ride.

The Tein basis get similar reviews but aftemarket sways really help.
