Bridgestone S-04 vs. Michelin PSS
I m with you guys on that I went to a discount tire a little farther out because of a guy some people recommended me and they did a great job taking the tires off my Volks and mounting them on the Works. I went to a closer discount tire to take the tires off my Works and mount them on the OEM coupe wheels and they nicked my Works in a few places... which I was more than upset about I make sure to check the wheels after anyone else touches them so I can raise hell there.
I just ordered the S-04s to the first discount tire and will be going back there. Some select bridgestones have a rebate going on right now incase you were looking for them

Am I the only one that doesn't like the look of the PSS? I know it's a great tire, but it lacks a defined edge around the border of the sidewall, so it never looks right once armour all'd then driven. I know, need to medicate the OCD, but I just wish the sidewall design was different.
The S-04s have the defined edge along the sidewall, but they do also weigh 5lbs more per tire as well; the PSS also has a slight edge on the UTQG rating.
If you can afford the premium, the PSS is really hard to beat. I have alot of Bimmer friends as well and this tire is also well regarded in those circles.
