Bandit's LAST Wheel Post (HyperSilver vs DARK HyperSilver?)

UPDATE! The 19" Coupe Wheels (in Hyper Silver) are ON July 3rd 2012, along with a set of 4 Michelin Super Sports to round her out. Looks Nice!

Ok Guys I have scrapped the CHROME Wheel idea. I JUST Ordered some New 19" Tires from Discount Tire Direct. I got Michalin Super Sports

Rears: 245/40/19
Fronts: 225/45/19

I am having all 4 of the OEM Coupe 19" Wheels I bought on this forum refinshed to put on my 2009 Black sedan. It will be about $500.

Now I have 2 options with Hyper Silver.

1. Dark Hyper Silver (Spray more coats of paint and looks darker)
2. Light Hyper Silver (less coats and is really bright).

There is not much Hyper Silver Dark Pictures out there. The guy told me HE reccomended the Dark and thought it would look good on my car, BUT, I want a brighter look so I think I am going with the Light Hyper Silver.

Here is my 09 Sedan Now and it kind of looks similar to how a Dark HyperSilver would look (Wheels looks Brighter in the light, but picture was taken inside a dark garage with just an overhead light on)

Here is a photo (Photo Shopped) by a forum vendor that was doing this to see what wheels lookeed like on your car. This is an example of the more common Light (Bright) Hyper Silver that I am thinking of getting.

Again, I bought the 10 SINGLE SPOKE Coupe Wheels.

Anyone have opinions or examples of DARK Hyper Silver and anyone have any opinion on one vs. the other?

Tires will be here soon I hope and I am going to drop of the wheels today.

Bandit...............

the Advantgard wheels in the photoshopped pic will be similar in color to your stock wheels. it looks brighter because it is a photoshopped pic. even the walls look whiter than your original picture. i wouldn't even bother with the 2 options and just have them refinish the wheels to it's OEM color. It will look like your stock wheels now.

Well that picture is a Hyper Silver Wheel just laid over my previous wheel, so that is basically the look I am going with.

Thanks

what i'm saying is that hypersilver is pretty much the color of the OEM wheels.

Light hyper silver is OEM. If you want to look subtly different go dark or gunmetal....by the way, edit your car in the garage. It saves you time explaining what you own.

Good choice. Contrast is the general public's desire. Hence the OEM choice...

Good choice on the tires. Did you price out the +0 option on the PSS?

If you ever find yourself in Fort Worth, drop me a line.

Copolite,

What is the +0 option on the PSS? I knlow it has something to do with plus sizes for tires, but I am not sure exactly what you mean? I was going to look at different plus sizes, but wasn't sure what that woudl do and I just wanted to get them here. The wheel guys said they will start my wheels when the tires come in.

Thanks

Sorry that I didn't get back to you with the +0 sizes, but the PSS review thread has them listed. It basically gives a meatier look and slightly wider tire on each one. Basically the 245 moves to the front wheel and a 275 goes on the back. I just priced it @Discount Tire and it was almost $400 more expensive.
