best wheel color that compliments blue slate?

Hey guys,

I have some OEM coupe 19's coming in this saturday for my blue slate sedan.. i'm going to powdercoat them but i dont know which color. ive searched LOTS of pictures and really cant decide if i want a gun metal.. dark silver.. or black.

i know this is purely subjective but what do you guys think is the best color to compliment blue slate? i could just leave it as is but there is a little bit of curb rash i wanted to get rid of with the powdercoat process.

if you guys have any pics of a blue slate with gun metal wheels please post them!

Stay away from black on Blue Slate.

I'd either go with gunmetal or even just some machined silver finish

yeah black was definitely the least favorite of the three..

originally i was going to go with the OEM GTR wheel color, but i just couldnt find a high quality picture of a blue slate sedan with the dark grey. i happened to find this old sales thread:

https://www.myg37.com/forums/private...ith-tires.html

i dont know if its the low quality pictures.. the time of day/low light.. the overlays on the tail lights, but the combo there is just eh to me. anyone else agree or do i need lasik surgery?

in regards to the silver.. right now im leaning towards a more silver color, something like this:

http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a0...D720/ry%3D480/

not too light, not too dark.

I don't know if this is possible with a one piece wheel but a brushed aluminum finish would look sick.

man looking at all these pictures of G's with custom wheels is really making me want to lower my car.. im probably going to get an ear full about lowering my car but my ark cans sit a wee bit low. my commutes are not friendly.. ive already scraped my pipes.

quick question.. ive decided to go with michelin PSS 225/45 and 245/40 (OEM), will i be able to take off the TPMS from my 2011 17" sedan wheels and put them into the 2008 19" coupe wheels?

This. I would go with a light shade of gunmetal or machined silver finish if possible.

That's what I was thinking... I think gold/bronze wheels look great on blue. However, he is powdercoating the stock wheels. I think that could end up looking cheap. No?
