Staggered or not Staggered
Ok guys,
I have a 2011 G37 Coupe and I am currently in the market for some rims. I will be getting 20" rims but the question that I have is should I get staggered or just 20x8.5 front and rear rims. I was told by multiple tire people at the shops that with the staggered it is a lot of expense because you can't rotate them and so they are a lot of "trouble" compared to if I was to just get front and rear 20x8.5. Can you guys please help enlighten me on whether it's really worth getting staggered or if getting 20x8.5 front and rear is the better route to take. what are the pro's and cons?

You can't rotate, but you can flip tires from Left-Right. If you get directional tires, this will help neutralize camber wear every time you flip (by dismounting/remounting tires.)
I haven't run a staggered set-up in about 70k miles, track the car as such, and have no problems with it.
For 20s, though, i would suggest going a little wider... 9-10". 20x8.5 will just look tall and skinny from a visual standpoint.
As far as i'm concerned, there are no significant cons for running a squared set-up.
