Link to 350Z forums that has info on them. You have to be able to sift through the BS as with any forum.

Oh and one more, this is a good one

I probably wouldn't run them on my G, but I have been thinking about trying them out on my Z. Still a bit wishy washy on them. The price is right though!

the guy that reviewed them from the above links sounded like he liked them.

however, there were a bunch of people that stated that the welds were chincy, they creek and rattle after about 10k miles and someone even stated they were pos. i mean for just under $1k, what can you expect. i was kinda hoping to get away without spending $2k on coilovers, but looks like nothing with car comes cheap.

idk......

I am still researching. When I asked about Megan Drift Spec cat backs I heard the same thing. The welds such etc etc. I think you just need to do a lot of research and make up your mind. Remember as always good equipment is not cheap. What you plan to use your car for also can dictate how much you need to spend and what kind of quality you really need. I am more on the fence after reading on serval forums now than before.

Ive talked to a few local guys with those coils. They all seemed to like them. Seems like for tracking your car these arent the best choice of suspension, but if you want to slam your car and stiffen the ride for street use these are good. I personally have never been in a car that has them so I cannot say. But I have 2 friends who have or have had them and had no complaints. If youre tracking your car go buy a aset of kw, if youre not tracking youre car seems pointless to buy such expensive suspension. If you just want ride height Ive heard many good things about tanabe

I can give you my honest opinion ... They are really good coils ... I have had a lot of coils on different cars and by far Megan's are the best bang for the buck .. I just sold mine for some bc with swift springs and wish I did not do that . You will not be disappointed ...

What are you looking to get out of your suspension? I might be selling some tein flex soon, since its pretty much overkill for what I use my car for.

It really does come down to what you will be using your car for. Also your choices are not limited to Megan for under 1k or Kw3 for ~2k. If your looking for only ride height adjustment you could do any of these for right around 1k or less

- Kw1
- Tanabe sustec
- Tein Basics

Pair any of the above with a good set of swaybars and you are set.

If you want ride and damping adjustment for occasional tracking/spirited driving at middle of the road pricing and better overall quality:

- Tein SSP or Flex
- Stance GR+

If you are serious about tracking or simply have the cash:

- Cusco coils
- Jic Magic
- Kw3
- Tein Monoflex

That sucks. Thank you for responding and sorry if it hurt.

Thank you all for the help. I probably should have Been more specific.

I'm not just looking for looks, but I don't have any interest in track time.

What I am looking for is something that can assist with the handling of some VERY spirited street driving, so I'm guessing that middle of e road would be beneficial for me. I have 3 more weeks to decide before I place the order.

Btw...who usually has the best prices around?

Thanks for the review soolman, and thank you everyone for your input.

You're welcome. Lou (AmplifiedMotorsport) has some really competitive pricing and is the vendor I purchased my Tein SSP from. Very happy with my setup. Waiting for my EDFC to arrive, very excited about this feature. If you don't mind slightly used product, it wouldn't hurt to contact Casey (Pcasey) since it sounds like he'll be selling his set up soon.
