I know this is a noob question; but, is there something great about Vossen wheels other than the look?

I see them used *ALOT* on this forum and I was just wondering.

What makes them so great on a G37? Do they fit inside the wheel well better, better tolerances, etc?

looks sick dragon68. I love those wheels. If only they werent so heavy I would get them. They do look good on our cars and they **seem** to be a customer oriented business. I don't have direct experience with them, but everyone seems to be happy and in the loop the entire process, which I can't say the same for other shady wheel makers

all the used sets you see for sale probably came off my car Fit,Finish,Value,Quality,5 Year workmanship warranty, excellent customer service all the reasons why they are huge on this forum.

There is one thing about Vossen that made them explode within the car community;marketing. Vossen has some nice designs that go well with a broad range of vehicle makes, and their marketing strategy proves so. Dont get me wrong, Vossen makes unique and good looking wheel designs; however, if you want proven quality you need to look elsewhere. Im not saying that Vossen wheels are crap, because they are not. Its just that their quality standards aren't as high as many JDM or local forged companies.

 

Vossen soon well launch a very competitive Forged Line ! As for what u can get for the $$$ don't look elsewhere .

 

I won't comment on the wheels themselves as I don't have them. I do know why they are so immensely popular in this G community though.

Vossen is also very competitive with its prices and value for money. I don't think you can get as much quality and looks from similarly priced wheels in the market.

 

OP is either in the know and enjoys poking around or is genuinely curious.


Vossen had a nice booth at SEMA though.
